Nah, but did hear on the news of storms in Mingay and Derrinallum, obviously Lismore is 5 minutes down the road from them.

bloody fox attacked the chicken coupe last night,

Boomer was onto it and by the time we got out the fox had scaled the 5 foot wire fence , ripped one of the boards off the coupe and killed all but 3 chickens and a solitary guinea fowl, wifes pretty upset. will have to line the lower portion of the coupe with Iron.

bloody good hearing that dog.

looks like i will be sleeping in the barn tonight alongside .22LR and a couple of loaded magazines,

Did you get it Koshari , little shits foxes. We have ducks that have their babies each yr and most of them disappear before they can grow and fly away. I assume it’s the foxes . They are getting smarter though and they hide them better now.

No. Rifle was in the safe last night. We are banking on him returning tonight. I will be camped out above the barn. Hopefully boomer hears mr fox if he returns and alerts me where i will be sleeping beside the cz455.

Fortified the coupe today with corry iron sheets, have a couple of birds left still. will see how the fox issue pans out. This one was the keenest we have had so far. Had a few lurkers caught on the cameras and boomer generally hears them, barks and chases them off.

Alarm set for 3am as thats when mr fox tends to pay a visit.

Pissing me off is what he is doing, we were ready to drive past gasos today en route to cobram. Instead iam hanging round here to deal with mr fox.

Missus already gone to bed and i will be heading over to the barn after my cup of tea for the wait. Not even any bags of chips in the pantry for my stake out....
