Voss named new Carlton coach

Feel both pleased and sorry for him, effectively won the position by default.

Knew if he didn't put his hand up then his chances of being a head coach at top level are probably over.

Hope he goes well, deserved better than what he received as coach of the Lions - the appointment of Cook in the background may provide the stability he will need.


Expecting Carlton to assume a greater identity around run and rebound and position their defence much further up the ground as a result of his appointment.


On past history the coming trade period could be livened up as a result of this as well.

Yeah but he has won what, 2 Brownlows playing as a midfielder? If that's not 'high-quality' then I don't know what is. I think he deserves the right to call himself high quality at the very least.

He should have been rubbed out for one of them making Priddis a back to back brownlow winner. Got off at least twice too many times to be eligible for the brownlow under the tribunal rules that year.

Yeah maybe but he was eligible under the rules (which were changed to stop him from losing a Brownlow through disqualification I might add...) so it is what it is.

I mean, enough of our supporters were pissed that Priddis won one Brownlow, imagine if he was a dual medallist?
