Ed just embarrassing himself trying to defend De Goey on FC.
Caro getting stuck into him whilst Lyon and Lloyd pretty much saying SFA.

Neil Mitchell called De Goey a "Bali boofhead" and Ed accused him of making light of De Goey's mental condition.

FMD.

Because he obviously was doing more than just drinking and groping in Bali and he has tested positive on his return.

  • A player with a first strike is given a $5,000 fine and counselled, but the information is kept strictly confidential.
The player remains anonymous and only the club's doctor is told, so that they can help form a plan with the player including potential counselling and treatment.
  • It's only when the player has a second strike that the player's name is publicly released, and they're given a four-match suspension and another $5,000 fine.
  • Three strikes warrants a 12-match suspension and a $10,000 fine.
No player has been publicly outed for two strikes since the policy was updated in 2015 and only one player has received three strikes — Hawthorn's Travis Tuck in 2010.

Under the illicit drugs policy, a player with a diagnosed mental health condition can enter a program, where they can receive counselling and medical care.

They'll be target-tested while they're in the program but won't get a positive strike if they test positive.

Just another sham episode that allows the player to avoid responsibility and get away with it. Worse still, it causes minimalisation of genuine mental health issues that are affecting many more players silently throughout the competition.

Fairly certain Buddy's season ending absence in the latter stages of 2015 was a cover for a couple of failed drug strikes. The mental health card was played too.

Luke Jackson adding to his value by the minute

Said it multiple times but Brisbane’s got so many overrated forwards it really kills them. Cameron/Daniher/Hipwood has got to be the biggest discrepancy between three players’ output vs expectations

How many more years do you think brisbane can compete for the flag after this year, only watch them a couple of times a year

Brisbane haven't won at the MCG since 2014.

Coming into this match, their record at the MCG since the 2004 Grand Final is 28 matches for just 4 wins (14%).

The last two seasons were their chance. Can't be a contender if you can't win where the Final is hosted.

Brisbane look woeful. Meanwhile Jackson is going to cost us way too much get across, both in draft capital and cap space.
