Surprised people felt they could win tonight.
I was tossing up which stat was more important, Brisbane's form at the Gabba, or Melbourne's near perfect record in games played away from Melbourne.

I ended up leaning towards Brisbane's Gabba record. Melbourne will win tonight. They are a good chance of knocking off the swans at the SCG in week 1.

MAy never gets called for infringing which makes a massive difference.

Brisbane just seem to still easily get rattled. I can't see them getting a flag with this group unfortunately. Rich, zorko, neale are very important and not spring chickens. Cameron has declined Significantly.

Melbourne's to lose this year I reckon.

Yeah they’re not mentally tough at all

Being at the game Melbourne are smashing them in close but the way the set up behind the ball is something I haven’t seen. They let the brisbane half forward and forward pockets go upto the stoppage and drop one backman on the switch side to stop that and the other one goes 5 metres infront of the last forward in the middle of the ground.they know brisbane has to go either boundary side for not much damage, switch and it goes to the spare on the fat side or of the go up the middle its a two on one…

Small man trying to bring down a big man - tried to use momentum to help.

In fact, I'd like to see Brisbane mount a reverse size differential argument and claim that Brown's larger body meant that it was physically impossible for Rayner to stop the tackle from resulting in a sling once gravity took over.

Ben Brown clearly OK

Cameron's kicked 47 goals this year.
Not sure he's declined TBH.
