Yeah just stop Hawkins... right...

that worked well last year.

Some goober will pop up and kick a few.

Or we just wont be switched on like nearly every Semi Final weve been in.

If we turn up ready to play we will win every game with the team we have but away games and qld weather makes us go weird.

I’m not saying we’re guaranteed to win, but that structure is why they struggle in finals. They have one reliable goal kicker.

we have darling, jk and Ryan.

If teams flood our forward line and we struggle to get the ball to JK i hope we plonk Ryan to FF to confuses their defensive setups.

Yeah the problem is once the dew sets in winning the contested ball is a must just not sure we can beat the Cats in this area without Yeo....

What a great game, love the atmosphere from an actual home crowd. Port applied excellent pressure all night, and aside from Hawkins kicking Geelong were not bad at all. Good skills, high pressure & a tight scoreline, the best kind of final.

Would love it if the commentary focused more on what Port were doing well rather than stating over and over that Geelong were down and needed to get a goal. A few times a loose ball spilled out it was "Geelong are on here!" but time and again a Port player either won it or applied a tackle.

Not really interested in the qualifying finals, the game i'm most looking forward to watching other than ours is the Saints vs Dogs EF at a neutral venue :raisedhands:
I'm the complete opposite, sick of watching crap football in greasy conditions with no crowds. At least the Brisbane game will have fans & a chance of watching Richmond lose.

Yep. I was just thinking him. Was barely sighted last night, will be primed for a 3 minute burst next week.

He's a strange case, aside from his kick after the siren to beat the Bombers in 2017 I can't remember him ever stepping up in a big game during his time at the Swans. Has size and pace to burn, but has never really put it all together. As a forward he has kicked a goal a game and averaged under 10 touches over a decade long career. That leg break he suffered was Brown/Barlow-esque gruesome but geez both Swans/Cats have been patient and lenient.

He's a slightly better Ah Chee.

He's a former first round draft pick, big body and really quick and bobs up every few rounds with a big game. Clubs are sold on his potential and the hope he can play to his best more often.

A bit like Nakia Cockatoo. Has never done much, but provides glimpses so people want him.

Setting the line for Brisbane’s accuracy at 38% tonight.

Eg 10.10 would be 50% accuracy.

Who wants the over, who wants the under?

That's going to be a high for them next year when they get Joe Daniher in their team as well.

lol he is an overpaid .... injury prone..... very inaccurate KPF.... no idea why Brisbane are after him.

Cockatoo has the injury excuse. Unfortunately for him, will his body ever allow him to have a good run at it?

The statisticians would suggest they'll return to the mean eventually. Unfortunately for Brisbane, they've got a habit of this which runs the duration of the season, but is exacerbated by playing the Tigers.

I really hope they correct it because we've been robbed of two good games by their inaccuracy.
