This from the Lions game day thread.
Good to see we aren't the only ones to call out their BS.

A drinking game for tonight :
1) Jack screams for a free kick
2) Grimes takes a dive
3) Dusty gets away with a fend to the face
4) Any Richmond forward gets away with a push/hold

Setting the line for Brisbane’s accuracy at 38% tonight.

Eg 10.10 would be 50% accuracy.

Who wants the over, who wants the under?

The Lions have actually improved their goal scoring accuracy by over 10% since their bye in Round 14.

Rounds 1-13: 124.159 (43.8%)

Rounds 15-18: 41.35 (53.9%)

Reckon your line could be on the low side.

If we play the Cats without Selwood, thats huge.

Apparently he will have surgery.

Geelong are adamant that he won't miss next weeks game.

He had 11 possessions (10 CP) in the first half last night, and just 5 in the second half.

Hawkins charged with striking for the eighth time since 2015. 11 charges in total in that span.

Financial sanction, naturally.

Blame old mate Fyfe for that after he kept hitting blokes and his residual points were ruling him out of Brownlow contention

He might have to break out a Qstick glove next week.

??

One bad turnover otherwise they've been completely on top so far

Their short chippy kicks are going to kill them. It’s not their game and Richmond are forcing them to chip around the backline then bang it long down the line. Can’t clear the wings. Turnovers imminent.

Once it’s hit ground level the Tigers are getting their numbers and chain handballs. A few poor i50 kicks unsticking them.

Started writing that before Richmond’s goal too.

Going for Lions tonight. I think they'd be the easier match-up if we get that far. Send one of the Vic teams to Adelaide for the other prelim.
The thing is.. whoever wins tonight theoretically becomes the harder matchup. If Brisbane can beat Richmond then we sure as hell can and a Brisbane that has Richmond’s measure while also having a home prelim at the Gabba is a pretty dangerous side. So either way we’d be playing someone of quality come the prelim (which I guess is the entire point when it’s the final 4 teams).

That’s much better from the Lions. It did unstick them earlier with stuffing the handball up, but that handball from a runner off the back is far far better for them.

They’re not drilled enough to chip through the defensive structure like we are, and they’ve kept getting stuck banging long to the wing. The extra runner from behind opening it up now.
