Seemed to manage for 20 years. Only when you started stamping your feet after you woke up from a long dormant slumber, did you stop playing there. Not our fault your supporters are so fair-weather that they only attend when you guys are winning. Or did you only have 20,000 supporters before 2017? Serious question :)
We played 2 finals series in 30 seasons and still outdrew many more successful sides over that period.

Cats to cry all the way to appeals night
How can they challenge ? On what grounds
totally off the ball and not in play he swings his arm and hits the bloke on the jaw and the player stays down

Soldo's suspension was a player coming at him and a reflex action and that was a week
No chance he gets off and if there was a chance it would get increased then Cats wouldnt challenge

Have already explained this Tiggie. Only 9 trains run between 4-7 with 700 max capacity per train. It's not the travel time that's the problem, it's the lack of actual transport to get there (no extra trains or buses).
Drive to Werribee and catch Metro trains from there

Not sure what the grounds would be but it was reported on nine that would mist likely appeal

You mean the ground we train on and play on? It represents what you'll never have.

On the flip side, having looked at Yarra Park's outhouse dunny, no wonder you gave it up so easily. Bent right over

You're right we were bent right over, we moved out of a small capacity ground to the ground where finals and grand finals are played. Then we all chipped in to the Fighting Tiger fund so that the club to rebuild Punt Road oval so that is is the same dimensions as the MCG as well as the same orientation because we don't rent the ground off the government like the Cats do.

BTW John, I expect you will be fronting up to the game on Friday night given it's only a 15 minute drive from home.

I’ll be there. Gonna be putting in TIGERS when I buy my club tickets. Gotta even up the allocation.

Anyway, I’ll have the bay to myself by 3QT so might be a chance of getting a ball from Tommy Hawkins after the game.

When was the last time we played at our home ground at punt road .....
It's not fair .....

1964 was the last time we played Geelong at our home ground. And before that we had to play finals at the G. Shafted!

In all seriousness, you do realize it's nigh on impossible for some people to get to the game, given that there's barely any trains and parking at the 'G has been unavailable due to 'terrorism concerns', all year, right?

Not exactly sure how you guys or the AFL expect our supporters to get there, when there's barely any public transport and nowhere to park. Perhaps they can fly?

Lol. No, I say 'apparently' because one of your own supporters said it in response to me positing you guys only started whinging about playing in Geelong, when all you bandwagoners jumped on. He said that you've 'always complained about it.' Double awks and a swing and a miss.

Said this to a few posters already - You can either be labelled as minnows who were sh*t enough to play down there when the going was tough, or, you can be labelled as bandwagoning sooks who only cracked a tanty about being 'locked out', once the Tiggies actually became relevant again.

We have had fans complain about being locked out and why shouldn't they when they pay their money for home and away game memberships that entitle them to entry into all Victorian based H&A game.

However those complaints are nothing like the constant whining from Cats fans, it's not fair the game is on Friday as we can't attend, we want it on Saturday so more of us can go. However looking back, Geelong crowds at the last few Saturday games aren't that big:

59,529 R21 2018
50,228 R9 2018
47,889 R22 2017
70,345 R17 2017
57,173 R8 2017

In fact the Cats draw bigger crowds playing on any day but Saturday.

This is least humorous banter thread i've ever seen but completely expected.
Cats have dragged us down to their level and beating us with experience

the only people sooking are Geelong supporters, nice projection though. Also you seem to be unaware that we don't actually set the playing fixture; if we did I'm sure we'd schedule all games at KP just so the rest of the competition doesn't have to put up with the incessant whining of cats supporters.

now if you'll excuse me I need to go down to the local shops, an expedition so arduous and treacherous it requires weeks of planning
