Correct grim, Ressies have a bye next weekend, its not a bye as such but this round is a split round with 1 game this weekend and 2 the following week. Canberra AFL play Sydney AFL on the last weekend in July.

My understanding is that this week was to be a bye round for the Canberra League. (June Long Weekend)

This weeks game has only occured as the Swans Ressies couldn't have played next week with the Seniors having the round off for the AFL bye.

A Bit High...what are ur thoughts on the game seeing as u though the tigers would win...who did well who didnt?
 
Good to see that Sexy Smith played

and im very happy to see DOK stepping up as i thought his form has been an issue this year

Great to see Luke Ablett did well but its easy for a senior playing in canberra

Im looking forward to seeing the results of the seniors and im hoping the boys who have been performing in the ressies have a good week off and train hard and make selection for the pies...im proud of them for pushing!

But atm i can see DOK, Vesz and Sexy Smith all being in after the split round

Also very happy Beanie is making the best...Rookie Elevation YES PLEASE!

Well the Collingwood game is a good chance for Roos to play some young guys a we cant go into the game with our regular team and strategy as it has been proven time and time again that that doesnt work.
 
Good to see Vez, DOK and MOD playing well, haha Luke Ablett in the best, the Swans obviously took Ed to Melbourne, heres hoping he doesn't come in for a late withdrawal, last time he played on the MCG he was ****!

Will be good to see Pat play after the break, add something more to our forward line

Yep especially against the Pies, a bit of unpredictablity and uncertainty just might be the key for us to foil Mick's plan, instead of the usual "we have match-ups on Ablett, Buchanan, Moore", will be "what do we do about Veszpremi, Dan O'Keefe, O'Dwyer, Smith"
 
Great to see O'Keefe firing with a 6 and Brabazon again being amongst the best. Id say they've been spoken to about their just floating around the seconds and time to lift and the team are watching closely their response and if so DOK's response looks encouraging.

May as well throw them in the deep end and see who can swim (especially against Collingwood because if we went into that game with our normal team odds are we would lose and at least this way we can get some game time into our young players).

^If we put them in, we might as well concede defeat.

Why is it so bad to include the best team we have and go in with a fighting chance?! Really don't get the mentality of putting in kids because we will probably lose the game. Anything can happen on the day.

Mass changes should only be made if they are immediately necessary. That many ex/inclusions means that many different games each player has to get used to. Team chemistry down the toilet.

That is ridiculous , 6 changes, you know Roos won't do that. Why is there so much love for McDOK, he's played 2 good games in his last 20 for gods sake.

Agree entirely, but which players will make way for them? Moore, Eski, Buchanan, ????
