Staggering they couldn't see it for themselves.
I just see it as an exercise in giving us some hope for the second half of the season. A distraction of you like. "Calm down everyone, we're doing a review".

And then hey presto just as the challengers are moving in they finish the much hyped review. Most people with half a brain could have come up with the changes that a highly paid consultant recommended. More spin but I'm not buying it.

That's right.

Benny and Peggy's review. Lol. A refuge for scoundrels.

Challengers should call for an independent review by a firm with now shareholders at the club

I want to know where TI and all the other nay sayers have gone?

I'm still around if you had been reading. Also stop baiting posters with stupid comments. If you're happy with the outcome of the review then good luck to you. I saw it as a costly and useless exercise bc really the possums in the JD stand could have told you the issues. I'm still not happy with the outcome bc the dead wood is still there and I really cannot see much improvement next year.

Hahaha mate you still would find faults in a premiership win.

I doubt TI would see fault in a premiership ... we'll cross that bridge when we come to it.
But I can tell you it won't be under Handbrake Hardwick's watch.

Because in reality, any unbiased review would have fired hardwick in the first hour.
Sorry but that is just rubbish, not a massive fan of DH and the way things have been this year but lets not forget he took over a club needing a total rebuild at a time that the drafts were weighted heavily in favour of the AFL's two new baby's, he had us winning 15 games last year and in 2013, with 3 years of finals, something that not many have done at Richmond, I think they would look at him as deserving a year to try and get us back on track, if we continue to slip then he will be gone.

I see your point but feel that from the club's perspective, it's just another wishy washy decision, kind of like sacking assistants but Giving them another year....if they want it.
So, when added to the list of other ridiculous decisions this mob have made, keeping Fabian Hardwit is just as ludicrous and reeks of a board that have painted themselves into a corner, with only their ego keeping them dry.

The Lade decisoin shows just how indecisive and insignificant we are. We'll give you another year, but we prefer you go!! Like WTF???

Expecting it all to happen in one day were you?
No wonder people think you're a joke.

Sound familiar?

The Producers is a musical adapted by Mel Brooks and Thomas Meehanfrom Brooks' 1968 film of the same name, with lyrics written by Brooks and music composed by Brooks and arranged by Glen Kelly and Doug Besterman. As in the film, the story concerns two theatrical producers who scheme to get rich by overselling interests in a Broadway flop.

The same with Jackson. Not strong enough to sack him instead keeping him as a consultant. So far we have only moved on 3 assistant coaches. I hope Balme is there to weed out the weak ones. Time will tell.

If he's a consultant he is sacked

He only gets paid when used.

I'd suggest he's staying as a part time consultant for a year before full time retirement to help the transition.
Recuiting would be one of the hardest jobs for clubs as they are usually scouting kids from when they are 16 so you can't just chop and change.
Years of paperwork and research to transition.

my understanding is that some of the leaders within the football department have been wanting to head into the direction the review has found for some time. Expressing their concern over the dead wood which has been restricting the clubs on field performance. If it ever sees the light of day some peoples negative opinion of the coach and the leadership group might change rather quickly.

So why haven't they acted till now ?

Sounds like such a BS review to me...

Listen to what Jeff Kennett says around the 5:30 minute mark here - and that's what Richmond needs, not another bandaid.

"a part time consulting type role" Gales words so who knows.
