Bont's goal in the last was us grabbing the spoon, Macrae's goal was forcing their jaw open, and Stringer's brilliant pass to Dickson was the final shove where they choked on it. Vengeance is sweet.

We've become the AFL's Batman - The good that squares up with evil. Taking down Hawthorn and preventing a fourpeat, then taking down the plastic thugs on their home turf in a game they were seemingly preordained to win, and now to take down a team that has had repetead success due to unfair concessions that keep the league uneven.

I can't even describe my feelings right now. It's a blur. I just remember being on my knees and hearing the siren, then running up and bear hugging my dad while we screamed gibberish at each other and let the years flow.

We ****ing did it. We're in a grand final. No one can take this away from us.

We have a lot of clutch type players in this team IMHO. Daniel, Macrae, Bont, Toby, Libba, Clay. Different types of players but they are all big moment types and it shows in finals.


A word on the GWS players and their faux bravado. The stink of Sheedy is on them and I reckon Cammo has a lot of work to do to get rid of that petulant arrogance that permeates through their group.

My tears have been ones of joy this time.
