Data from footywire. To check the draft order see the thread here.

Footywire says: "While we make every effort to keep up to date with player contracts, it is likely that our data may at times be out of date, incomplete or inaccurate. If you find any player contracts that need updating, please let us know using our brand new contract submission form."

I agree on the pumping things up but I legit don't remember a time where I've heard so much about everyone wanting to trade into this one. Like, we have talk of a perenial bottom 2 team trading a F1 for pick 9

I think draft picks do have different values depending on the draft and Freo have lucked into one where 7ish to 14ish have more value than normal. It's probably half the reason Boltons even gettable.
Yep, what people are inferring is that for pick 9 and 10 this year you should get a BETTER combo than Caddy and Flanders.

Outrageous to think that’s the case.
Time will tell I spose, and there are plenty that are much closer to this draft than me to speak to that. But I reckon it puts it into context how much of a big call it is.

Haha, I cant give you an answer on this no matter how times you ask. There's 50 intangibles I dont know that impact the decision. In a vaccum, 9 and 16 because 16 seems to be missing on the players that would interest me in the draft (it misses Berry and Twomey then has like 5 talls I have no interest in)
Ok ill take the choice out of your hands

9,10,16 get cleaned up by Richmond for B1 & B2 and freo can have Oliver Hannaford with the St kilda pick
and freo get the best of both worlds ;)

Only if Richmond have it, of course. Otherwise, not worth much
season 2 now youre getting it GIF by Billions

Considering both Richmond & West Coast are a shambles
It will be extremely interesting to see the 2 different ways they go about rebuilding
both bottom 3 sides 1 has a full deck of draft picks and the other scrambling around to find late picks
will be a great watch and see for both sides supporters with nothing else left to watch the next 3 years

What draft picks does Richmond have?

Great.

But the self-confessed 'gambler' should probably be more concerned with buying the lotto ticket in the first place, as opposed to planning how to spend the winnings
We're not actually list managers legend, we're on a footy forum. This is a discussion space, we're gonna discuss hypotheticals. It's pretty likely Bolton and Baker will go and we'll have a bounty of picks.

Well considering Bolton , Baker, Graham & Rioli are gone
1,3,9,12,17,21,22,29,39,41,47,57,66,73,75
Isn't Bolton happy to stay if something can't be worked out? You might not be happy with Freo's offer and decide to keep him.

Graham has a 4 year offer from Richmond, so is a big chance to stay.

Can't see GC parting with more than 6 for Rioli. Richmond will probably send something back for next year, as GC need points.

Who even knows with Baker. Hasn't even nominated a club.

Might just end up with 6 & 9 from trading out that lot, presuming you take whatever Freo offer for Bolton.

Decent enough I guess.

He only got offered 4 years to up his value with a compensation pick :thumbsu:

That would be fantastic if he stayed but Freo are desperate and they will pay 9 & 10 as they should

Graham has a 4 year offer from Richmond now for 10 days - He has not signed and looking like the eagles offer is still higher than Richmond

Pick 6 is a done deal , The extra's will depend on how much cash they need to stay under the cap

Baker has 3 offers from 3 clubs , Eagles have the most $$$ on the table , Just waiting to see if they appoint a coach he wants to play under but looking more like the eagles but even if it is not the eagles are open to trading #3 as they are desperate for picks

Just 6 & 9 for trading out the lot Hahahahaha really
2 contracted players like Rioli & Bolton and Baker/Graham leaving you think is only getting 6 & 9

As i say im a betting man and that wont happen

Look, it's obvious you've been drinking the Jon Ralph Kool-Aid but don't be too disappointed when your 'haul' isn't nearly as good as you clearly have set yourself to believe it will be.

It doesn't work like that.
How does it work then ???

It worked with Tyrone Vickery and other players
Eagles will either up the offer and Richmond get what we want or we keep him - No issue he is worth more than pick #40+ to Richmond and with the eagles midfield consisting of Reid then ..................................... Yeo/Kelly who are getting on
as a free hit they most likely will ensure they get him

It doesn't work like that.

Well it does he is a UFA so he will go regardless of what his new contract is at a new club the AFL base it on many things but if his valued highly at the club he is leaving the Tigers will be compensated with an early 2nd.

Richmond will go into this draft with atleast 5 picks inside 21

100% Guaranteed and happy to take your $$$$ on it
