My first post saying that my uncle texted me that lids was limping off at training was deleted for some reason. But he was right and i'm not a troll.

No hard feelings mods.

A mate of mine works out at a specific gym in airport west, the same gym which Brandon Ellis goes to. The friend has the same personal trainer as Ellis, and says that Ellis told him that Deledio is a certainty to miss the beginning of the season with an ankle injury. You wait and see
I'm just curious why he'd go to an airport west gym and have a PT when he has everything he needs at the club? Not nitpicking, genuine question.

Less than 24 hours the club made a statement clearing him to play and pretty much rubbished rumours he had an injury. Do some research.
Stop overreacting, WGAF how the club deal with it.

And the fact he said ankle when its a quad is a dead giveaway that he is talking shit.

Eddie McChins has just said that Deledio broke both legs, his left arm, separated his shoulder and cracked a tooth and will miss the next 3 seasons... you heard it hear first!

Not ideal but we need to learn to win without him - and if we're serious about top 4, we should be able to dispense of the tankers without him.

...unless it's all part of a plan to surprise them on Thursday? ;)

How am I overreacting? The club has released mixed injury reports all pre season and I'm not the only one getting tired of it.
Sorry dude I was not meant to post that, I did write it then chose not to post it because I didn't think it was worth arguing over an issue in which we both have differing opinions. Got me beat how it still ended up being posted.

But seriously, our scoreboard pressure will be lacking especially if Edwards misses too.

Jack is the only player up there I'm confident can kick more than 1.

Lennon/Lloyd are inconsistent. So is Vickery. Griff has barely kicked more than 1 in a game. Rioli is too raw. Martin plays at least 50% midfield. I'm actually worried we will try to leave him up forward more than usual and bank on our slow mids in Miles/Moore/Townsend hitting our forwards lace up

Apparently Miles is out as well lol

They have no backs. Ty will kick 5. Lennon 4 jack 7 or 8.

Honestly with Lids plus a number of other important players looking like they will be missing on Thursday this is really looking like a danger game. Given the difficult draw we have if we were to do the unthinkable and lose to the scum we can almost kiss the season goodbye. Sounds very pessimistic but its important to remember that the missing players even upon returning will not be at their best so their influence will not suddenly turn the team around. These first few weeks are going to tell the story as to whether our second tier players are really up to the level we need them to be.
