Sheeds celebrating whilst his bombers will not win a flag any time soon, a generation at least. Gws have a list so packed full of talent they can throw their b graders shields , treloar, Adams, hoskin Elliott away and have another 10 players ready to go and more cash to prop up their existence. Meanwhile the bombers and other clubs struggle with their salary club, bombers will soon lose Joe to another cashed up AFL project. Hope your happy sheeds!!
The Bombers will struggle? Is that the same Bombers that set themselves back by cheating? And doesn’t ‘Shiel’ now play for Essendon? And didn’t Treloar last play for Collingwood? As well as Hoskin Elliott and Adams? I mean, wow, cant you see the irony in all this? Not to mention you shit yourselves on Saturday afternoon when it mattered most?

If the Tigers do happen to win this year it will be sweeter than 2017. This year every supporter who doesn't barrack for Richmond is hoping the AFL giants get up. Dan Andrews better build a new desalination plant. Salt overload and hardened arteries could bring the nation to its knees.
I’m sure a lot of Bulldogs fans will be in our corner this week

Pretty sure he’s referring to struggling to hold players due to less cap.
And yes. He mentioned those players and said gws could discard them, because they had other good players waiting in the wings.

I don’t get this defence of GWS getting a leg up. Their supporters should be happy they got it, and be thankful. Not defensive and whinging at other fans for disliking it.

You’re not going to see too many local clubs being happy if an opponent got extra points/cap/the league gave them extra cash. It’s no different at top level.

Be happy with the advantages, but don’t expect others to be happy about it (thisgoes for all clubs)

No way.

The Giants last month has been immense.
Their tackling pressure is immense.

They are a monster and Richmond is about walk in to 2 hours of brutality.

Seriously. The Giants are close to unstoppable on current form.
They are in good form, but I wouldn’t say close to unstoppable. The siren saved them against Collingwood IMO and they scraped over Brisbane by kicking the last goal of the match with roughly 3 minutes to go.

Richmond are in stronger form with 11 straight wins and even I wouldn’t say that they are ‘unstoppable’.

Yeah I’m not sure unstoppable is right. The last two weeks their opponent wasted forward 50 entries in the last and they got over the line by under a kick

Tigers belted Brisbane, and made geelong look garbage.

Tigers are the form team and rightfully should be favourites.

Couple of factors:
1. Giants need to bring the same intensity around the ball, have dominated that area in their 3 finals.
2. Are Richmond playing as well as the results appear? Should have been 4 goals down at qtr time against Brisbane and were 4 goals down at half time against the cats. (cant deny they have finished games extremely well)
3. Have GWS already played the grand final last week? Can they move on and be ready for the big dance?
4. Will GWS risk Cogs, Davis and Whitfield? Will it come back to bite them on the ass?

he sees the irony, dont worry bout that...what hes saying is they can afford to give all those top 10 draft picks away(theyre all the ones that butcher the ball under pressure by the way) & yet they still have a list full of top 10 draft picks...GET IT...luxuries afforded my friend

Are the tigers playing as well as the results show? Should have been further behind against the lions at qtr time and cats 4 goals up at half time. I have tigers favorites but definitely not unstoppable

Not really, in rnd 3 Rioli got injured as well as macintosh and cotchin. We also didn't have caddy or Jack so Dusty was forced to stay mid. If Deboar sits on him, I wonder how he will go playing as a full back all game.
We didn’t have Houli or Grimes either, our two AA players this year

Who is saying we are unstoppable but you are questioning if we are really playing well. We have beaten all the top sides since the bye with being number 1 in points for at 159% and the best defence at 59 points conceded......yet you think we are not the form side?

I never said they were unstoppable though. I think the reason why Richmond have won so many games is because they have found many different ways of winning. If they are leading comfortably, they don’t give up their lead. If they are trailing comfortably, they pass their opponent to win. If it’s a tight game, they pull away from their opponent. If we’re getting dominated, then we win through accuracy. That’s how we got to 11 straight wins, so I think the winning streak counts for something and is impressive. You can get us for periods of the game, but it is tough to beat us over 4 quarters.

GWS’ talent is fantastic and their form at their best is as good as anyone, but I just don’t think their form is as good or better than Richmond’s, which is what I think the poster was alluding to. They seem more beatable over 4 quarters than what Richmond do.
