Collingwood were up by 3 points at HT last week.Like last week?
**** yesAre there any neutrals going for the Tiges? Don't expect many but interested
I'd call that 'Tiger Yellow'.
Wow, that's huge. I hear everyone can't stop talking about GWS in Sydney, it's mad.
It's 5am Game day and I'm at Sydney airport and there are Giants fans everywhereHeard several groups of people today talking about GWS, both on the train and at work.
More than one page....on a Thursday!!! They did whhaaaaaatttttYep
Been all over the news this week ( finally )
You know what it is. And I can't quite put my finger on why yet. Also, all the Richmond fans have had stuff for years. All the gws fans are only now jumping on the bandwagon so needed to buy something to show that they pretend to care about footy
I think Melbourne's sporting culture is a bit more weaved into the city. Sport dominates the city most of the year and generally all Melbourne teams are fairly well supported and attended as well as other sporting events. You know what it is. And I can't quite put my finger on why yet.
There are 30k members and plenty more that have not signed up. But Sydney just doesn't have a culture where people go to the sport no matter what. I just don't get it.
I'm a foundation member of both Freo and GWS and live in Sydney these days. And even in NRL they will get 5k at a game and then their team make a final and suddenly 60k rock up from somewhere
Growing up in Perth people go to the footy no matter what, it's about the live experience. When I moved to Sydney that's why I joined the giants in the first place. To see some live footy when Freo were not playing.
I don't quite get it.
But there are more fans out there than people think

Very true I agreeI think Melbourne's sporting culture is a bit more weaved into the city. Sport dominates the city most of the year and generally all Melbourne teams are fairly well supported and attended as well as other sporting events.
Also, in my experiences Sydney is a lot more business and corporate than say Melbourne or Perth, and that might be a factor.
NRL too which is Sydney's dominant sport is a better view on TV than at the game. It's a straight line sport, played sideways, and that works better with the camera following alongside rather than sitting at an obscure angle in the stadium. State of Origin is different because of the pure rivalry people just have to be there.
It’s simple, sydneysiders are theatre goers. They will go to things that are big events regardless of if it has any meaning. Finals, big exhibition games etc. An exhibition game between Sydney FC and LA galaxy will sell out due to David Beckham playing because they are theatre goers. Very different culture compared to Melbourne. You know what it is. And I can't quite put my finger on why yet.

Lol. This is a 50/50 game.I feel the bookies are probably underrating Richmond there. $1.40 is pretty good. The real juicy odds are Richmond $3.50 for winning by 40+. Worth a cheeky $30
I did it in 08 and then 2012; after which I realised it didn’t help how I felt and stoppedI did this in '13, '14 and '15. Only $20 since i'm not really a gambler.
I was at the Sydney airport yesterday and there were a lot of Giants fans there. Was quite surprised by it to be honestWill anyone there know why? The Roosters are playing tomorrow and Rabbitohs playing tonight.
I just arrived in MelbourneI was at the Sydney airport yesterday and there were a lot of Giants fans there. Was quite surprised by it to be honest
With Bruce involved just give it to Dusty now
