Is Young pretty much locked in as our no.1 key defender - the guy who lines up on the no.1 forward each week? I thought he was depth and would be VFL to start the season.

Why would you think that. Comes in as a first year player, top 5 key defenders in one-on-one win % in the comp, was pretty good with the ball, and has had his first real preseason as an AFL player under his belt, can only get better you'd think.
