Apparently according to Dimma he is Ports Barometer,,,,, LMAO... yes its true Dimma actually said that???? ... he then added that he gives them great run and carry and is a great kick.... yes I'm not joking Dimma said that too

http://www.afl.com.au/news/2014-07-10/white-to-get-black-mark

Yeah I guess we should've just bent over and given him a 3 year, $350-400k a year contract.

The coaching staff wanted to keep him. Matt White walked out on us for a ridiculous contract that we couldn't possibly justify matching. It's not Dimma's fault that Matt White is gone.

Who knows,
Thats why there is a thread.... questions need to be asked. If you dont like the extreme than look away.

Yep Dimma will scarp another 4-5 wins.... will go into the pre-season with a hundred fluffy stories about how we really worked hard to get our game back and numbers really improbed blah blah.... Dimma will even roll out the "We've fallen short a couple of times this year" and we are back on the right track..... when might even snag a big signing during the trade period..... But I'll guarantee but round 12 our season will be shot.

I really dont want Dimma and his football department in charge of another off season....

******* Hampson... Refuse to watch any games he is playing in. For very good reason.

Hardwick yet again laying favorites by dropping Arnot and O'Hanlon.

Newman had a worse game then those two. Grimes had less touches then those two. And he played the whole game.

Seriously. Who gives a **** anymore when he keeps picking the same *******s, regardless if they did anything to warrant a selection or not.

"Hampson and Thomas have played AFL level before, therefore they are good enough"

There is a reason they couldn't get a game at their old clubs....

You seriously think Dimma is "playing favourites" by playing Dylan Grimes ahead of Matthew Arnot?

He would have stayed with a 2 year deal for for a lot less than he gets at Port.... and that is fact. But who would want to play under Dimma and his ridiculous selections.... and when you are finally picked he plays you in negative roles that de-skill you.

That would mean we beat 2-3 of Port, Sydney (away), Adelaide (away), West Coast (away) and the Dopers. All decent wins. I'd rather see that than our team getting humiliated another 5 times this year and finish with a 7-15 record.

Quote my whole post please!

Settle down...bit early to go ape shite yet....
Wait till 5 mins into the game then start...:)

I was really excited to see Ohanlon get a game last week.... He had shown a bit in the 2's and it was good to see the club reward a kid. Then he gets the green jacket.... ok fair enough.... then he gets 3/8 of a game... made a coupe of errors but he moved well and looked ok. Was looking forward to a back upo game and hopefully more game time. ..... na ... You see at the RFC we know how to develop our kids.... we pick them drop them and then we dont see them again for weeks... then we pick blokes who are playing crap????
Arnott in then out..... Griffith rotting in the 2's whilst we play a tall short... Oren busting his guts ... yet sees Hampsons name on the match sheet??? FFS

Footy clubs are built around giving players a fair go.... This coach has no Idea.... Dimma has benefited from a club hell bent on a rebuild and has a been given a free ride.

Who reckons Matty White would want to come back to Tigerland????? answer that truthfully and you;'ll scrap the surface of what is wrong wioth this club.... and its not just this year. Our team selections have been like this from day 1 under Dimma.... Tuck ... Mcmahon.... playing duds like Hislop...nason instead.

Damien Hardwick has no idea what constitutes an AFL side.....

Well what do you want then?

Play the kids, but not the kids.

Have I got this right, it looks like Vlaustin/Morris or Thomas in for Arnot/O'Hanlon, and because of this Damien Hardwick is deliberately trying to destroy the club!!
O'Hanlon may well be stiff, there are dozens of unlucky players in all clubs every week, and I would prefer Vlaustin to O'Hanlon, Thomas or Morris are far more effective than Arnot at this stage.
It's all part of his cunning plan my liege

We did keep matty white for 8 years nut, that's some perseverance for 100 games

I'm surprised you would play O'Hanlon last week and reward him for his form in the VFL which was good very good. Play him as a sub. Then after he produces a quarter of great potential, you drop him.

It's crazy. But hey, it's Dimma. It's really not surprising anymore.

Good to Vlastuin back. Him and Miles are the two inside beasts we need to develop to make us a much better side in the future.

Can't believe the carry on over Matty White. He had his time at Richmond and did a few good things in his last year, then he got a better offer and took it. If Richmond matched the offer that would have just been another opportunity to slam Dimma.

I'm not concerned about Arnot and O'Hanlon if we are bringing in Morris, Vlastuin or Lloyd. BUT if we are going to drop Dea or Batchelor so we can have a Hampson or Thomas in the team well Hardwick can get ****ed. I have a sneaky suspicion that Dea might get dropped this week which is ridiculous given his development and the fact Houli has been a turnover merchant the last month.

White may not be playing finals this year so we can all get over that as well. Port are slowing down (AKA Essendon of previous years) and they are going to get overrun by the better teams and will either sneak into finals or miss them all together. We can help them miss this weekend.

Pretty sure we were never a show for finals think it was hardwicks 2nd year and we won about 8? games.. but happy to be corrected if im wrong. Anyhow, I guess we'll see at seasons end

Depending on when he injured what though, with JR.... He was our (probably still is) our only forward to at the time.... Weren't the 5 ops all for relatively minor things but the cumulative effect held him back?

Alot of players take around 100 games to hit their straps.... Andy Kraker.... Benny Gale..... its a long list.
I'm no doc either but why oh why are we playing injured players? Morris's shoulder may or may not require surgery but if it affects his ability to contest even one contest then he shouldn't be playing. He goes okay but he's not that great.

Same goes for lids and his archilies. Now I am no expert but I reckon he is going at about 60% at the moment compared to when he is fit. I understand archilies injuries best treatment is rest. I guess he has the off season for that but if he carries it into the pre season he will be behind the rest of the comp. why play him now when he can be recovering in time for day one of per season training. Last year we ran Ivan into the ground by playing him injured and we don't seem to be learning.

I see what you are saying but with Morris, I haven't seen it impact the way he goes about contests.... He never pulls out, he just sometimes gets up looking sore. Morris' form issues this season were just that... form.

Lids on the other hand looked hampered when he came back from the Achilles. He is moving much more freely now. He will have 8 weeks of rest over the off-season to freshen it up for the pre-season. This is not the first time he's had a sore Achilles..... I understand that it often gets sore during the pre-season and he has to manage it. So giving him say 16 weeks off is not going to be any more advantageous. He needs to ensure the Achilles can deal with regular running loads going through it.... a long layoff may impact on that. You'd think that the 8 week break will give him that chance.... combined with a different training methods throughout this season.
