Ricky Petterd wins this week's Rising Star

Apparently Melbourne was tossing up between Petterd and Frawley for pick 12. Maybe we thought Petterd had a better chance of slipping through to pick 30 or simply thought Frawley was the better choice but either way we managed to get both in the end

Everyone's happy!

I will never, ever know how he got as low as Melbourne's second rounder. Other than Hawkins, he was the player that stood out to me the most during the u/18 championships.

That's teh sort of assessment we like to hear.

Personally, and no disrespect to Ricky. But I thought Nathan Krakour had a bigger impact on the game.

I havent seen that boy waste a posession.
