Carlton got an absolute armchair ride, no idea why, they sure as hell didn't need it.
And the new play-on rule is shit.

That new rule seemed a bit unfair at times for GC when all the players stopped for the whistle and a Carlton player continues and a kicks a goal, just a bit of a rubbing in

Yep. GC were getting towelled up and the umpires made it even worse. That Walker 50 sticks in my mind. Almost laughed at his dive, shook my head when it got paid.

How often was Ablett allowed to throw the ball away and play on called.
Judd caught him twice and he dropped/threw the ball yet the imbeciles called play on.
The GC got an armchair ride which is no surprise at all.
It wasn't just Ablett.
There were many instances in which GC players had possession, were tackled and then dropped/threw the ball away and play on was called.
Thornton/Waite had their arms chopped on numerous occassions yet play on was called. Slightest chop on a GC player and play on.
Matthew Nicholls really isn't up to it; we've had him two weeks in a row and his performance has been unacceptable. It's amazing if you perform poorly for as long as he has in any other job you'd get the flick...

Matthew Nicholls what a disgrace.
Rhyce Shaw has his head SMASHED right in front of you and you call play on...it was almost a reportable incident and you don't even give the free. Hurn then gets tackled, drops the ball and you call play on.
