I posted a while ago that he had the potential to be the most dominant forward in the game.
Everyone saw that exact potential today.

Hopefully those that said what they did against him at pick 2 admit it was the right choice.

Spot on. Yes he was top 2 and you don’t expect all our top picks to kick 5 goals but surely they have the talent to show something. A few of them have still not done that but Riley definitely has

As may be indicated by my avatar, I have a bit to do with Tas. In fact I describe myself as a gypsy, having lived in four Australian States and across the dutch (NZ). Some people live in the past regrading Tasmania. It is a boom State atm, with Hobart's housing market going through the roof and people moving to Tas from everywhere. Hobart is a pretty, arty, laid back city and Tasmania as a whole is flourishing with many boutique small industries and plenty of arts and crafts. The scenery is incredible and unspoilt (get away from the tourism brochures and actually explore the South West eg places like Strathgordon, doing Scotts Peak Road on the way and stay at Pedder Wilderness Lodge, or as found a bit more on the brochures visit Queenstown and Strahan and do the Wilderness Railway and Gordon River Cruise), with people from all over the world knowing about Tas through documentaries on wildlife and many wanting to visit (international tourism was booming pre COVID). We know as when we did a huge overseas trip through about 17 counties two and a half years ago we were amazed that nearly everyone knew about Tasmania because of the wildlife doco's. Unfortunately it is also road kill capital of the world.

Amazing place! It's actually a mix of old and new, in parts it's more progressive than Radelaide. Good place to debut too!

Great debut game by Thilthorpe! Liked the pick from the start and didn't understand how people thought he may slide to our 2nd pick.

Will only get better with more experience under his belt. Size, contested marking, athleticism....a match up nightmare!

Was always firmly in the camp of wanting Thilthorpe from the limited stuff I'd seen. Had that X-factor and the reflexes for a big guy were on show today with the 2nd goal. Even his physique is pretty good for a big guy at this point so really excited to see what he can do as he matures.

His agility and hands are amazing, at times he was moving like a midfielder. Crazy. Was so involved in the play too, didn’t just kick 5 but had 15 possessions. Like even with the horrible early changers, the fact that he was so involved out there was super encouraging.

Richo is a really good comp actually, seems TT will play mostly up forward but I’m not opposed to seeing him up on the wing on occasion. I know Knightmare (the ESPN draft expert) is really big on playing large wingers and has made a couple of posts about the subject. It’s quite an interesting read.
