Im surprised you haven’t given him half the time you gave Chayce, to perform. But you know I’m right AGAIN Frog
It’s the draft pickIm surprised you haven’t given him half the time you gave Chayce, to perform.
I would be interested to see were he takes the majority of his contested marks, my guess would be between the ArcsI consider he is one of the best contested mark at his age. Another 2-3 years, he will be a gun.

As long as you're not faithless ......Is Riley Thilthorpe the new James Sellar? - high draft pick who started promisingly as a KF in Dubai then finished as an average ruckman at another club.
I hope not but he’s currently tracking no better than Elliot Himmelburg. I know big men take longer yada yada but I’m losing a little faith
Don't think Sellar ever kicked 5 on debut, won a game against the Saints, had the game against Collingwood last year or kicked 5 in a Showdown this year......Is Riley Thilthorpe the new James Sellar? - high draft pick who started promisingly as a KF in Dubai then finished as an average ruckman at another club.

Sincerely hope you’re right. Would be nice if he kicked an occasional goal from 30 metres though, that’s not tirednessBasically all of our younger players have faded later in the season this year. Rachele is the most notable but Pedlar, Soligo and Michalanney have all been worse in the second half of the year than the first. This isn't true of the 23+ brigade, and Thilthorpe's poor last couple of weeks should be considered in that context I think. I expect all of those guys to be better next year, and we definitely shouldn't be writing Thilthorpe off or anything close. I still think he will be a great player.
James Sellar never once played a good game, so TT is miles ahead of himIs Riley Thilthorpe the new James Sellar? - high draft pick who started promisingly as a KF in Dubai then finished as an average ruckman at another club.

He started as the lead ruck against Collingwood last year and was influential around the ground as a 5th midfielder taking contested marks and clearance and also had 4 shots on goal when resting forward, that's how we should be playing him.It must be very depressing and confidence sapping for him, knowing that in every quarter of every game over the last two years he's started on the bench and knowing he'll be lucky to get 70% time on ground. With Walker going around for another year, it will probably be more of the same for him in Season 2024.
And so easily affectedRubbish that solely between Thilthorpe's ears.
Ball dropRubbish that's solely between Thilthorpe's ears.
He definitely dropped the ball on an angle for one of his misses a few weeks ago. Maybe his drop has degenerated? Then explain his almost perfect goal kicking prior to this latest run of misses? It's between the ears/lack of confidence/self doubt IMO.
Agree mostly. Remember Tex trying to fire him up during the showdown? Maybe he’s carry an injury too, who knows. Either way, it’s been a mostly bad end to the year for him. Then explain his almost perfect goal kicking prior to this latest run of misses? It's between the ears/lack of confidence/self doubt IMO.
How many showdowns did James Sellar win off his own boot ?Is Riley Thilthorpe the new James Sellar? - high draft pick who started promisingly as a KF in Dubai then finished as an average ruckman at another club.

And you can definitely tell Fog lacks confidence and self belief as wellThis..
Self-belief set to hold Fogarty in good stead
The tall forward finished 2022 with a career-high 33 goalswww.afc.com.au
Adelaide forward Darcy Fogarty said self-belief had never really been one of his strong points.
But that slowly started to change this past season, when the 23-year-old joined teammate Riley Thilthorpe in a course to build confidence which has translated to improved form on the field.
Rubbish that's solely between Thilthorpe's ears.
And there absolutely nothing wrong with that, I think it would be good for him.with our lack of talls i'd trial him at CHB
