I can’t recall the reaction here but on another Eagles website ( is it even still going?) it was pitchforks at dawn… not to be outdone the Cousins sacking thread also got a good vigilante representation…

If your Mrs said she wants out and has eyes on other men, her then agreeing to stay shouldn’t fill you with confidence that it will go back to how it was.

There was another competitor to BigFooty sprung up about 10 years ago but it was pretty wild and eventually the traffic died due to everyone abusing the shit out of each other. Can't remember the name of that one.

I’m not sure we’ll get shafted this time.

I think it’s case of pay a good price or no deal - he’s into the PSD or draft or whatever.

PA (who’d have thought it) and Rioli have played dirty over this one.

We hold all the cards, and I think Trev and the club are fired up.

If it’s all about business, I don’t think the club is going to sell a prize asset cheaply.

If it is a weak draft, and everybody on here who watches the U18's says it is, then i think we have to play hardball. Pick somewhere around 20. You can't offer the bloke a 4 year deal and then turn around tell the club you are buying him off he is only worth pick 40 in a weak draft or something stupid like that.

Worst case scenario is he goes PSD for nothing. That is not a desirable outcome but it is not the end of the world either. I am happy for the club play hardball and demand a decent pick and if they do and the 10% chance it backfires and we get nothing comes to fruition i will cop that and not complain.

The one thing Port have going for them in trying to get him cheaply is that they are probably the only club in the comp who would offer him anything more than 2 years. So that makes it easier for them to get him via PSD if he nominates terms for any potential suitors.

But there is a big part of me that hopes that after we get rid of him to Port he does something really stupid like turns up at the airport with a big bag of coke shoved up his asse or something and gets caught. And his career ends instantly and Port forfeit whatever it is they end up trading to us for him.

Definitely a different vibe to this forum. I enjoy the bants, humour, wacky trade discussions and melts here on BF, but there were some pretty knowledgeable posters over on EFH back in the day too.

Definitely a different vibe to this forum. I enjoy the bants, humour, wacky trade discussions and melts here on BF, but there were some pretty knowledgeable posters over on EFH back in the day too.

I was a regular on there for 10 years. Then as the traffic died down i eventually migrated back over here.
