Going to be pretty hard to beat Bowey at this stage – 34 possessions, 18 contested, 16 intercepts, nine marks, 560 metres gained going at 79% DE, and ~150 SuperCoach points.

Crazy to think he's played nine games. Caleb Daniel clone.

Bloody hell that is good. After last week we had a kid kicking 5 with 27 possessions. There are some GOOD kids around.

Yep.

The lucky charm still hasn’t lost a game yet either. 9-0 and a Premiership player to boot.

Pretty hard to top that.

I badly wanted him at the hawks his draft year. Gun.

Don't usually like them giving it to a second year this early in the season (or at all TBH) but you can't go past Bowey.

Ginnivan would've been good just for Kane Cornes though

Terrific and tough young player.

If Melbourne wins against the bombers this week, he will be the most undeafeated player in the history of the game - i.e. no one has won the first 10 games of their career. So if you're a betting person, load up on the bombers this week!
That’s actually not correct. Plenty of players have won their first 10.

Albert Lauder has the record winning his first 18.

Eric Cochran won all 9 games he played in as the most wins in a career without a loss.

I think I understand what they were trying to say - of all the players with a 100% win rate for their career, he will be number 1 for most games played (i.e. everyone who won more than their first 10 games have subsequently gone on to lose).

Yeah if Melbourne win this week he will have the most wins in a career without a loss, but as soon as he gets a loss he’ll lose that record. I’m hoping he can break the first 18 wins record.

I really thought James Jordon would do it last year

My brain exploded half-way through this post

Or alternatively if we win, he should retire directly

Yes this is what I was meaning to say. Thank you for translating!
