Apart from Curtis being a monty to get the nomination this week, who do you guys think could get a nom in the last 5 rounds? Gibcus is one who should get a nom, Durham has been pretty consistent, Cumberland is a chance in the next few weeks, Josh Ward and Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera both probably deserve one, Connor MacDonald and Brady Hough are both solid chances.

A couple of them will get unlucky.

De Koning made last year's Coleman medallist look very, very ordinary last night.

Didn’t get to watch it, but assuming they actually lined up on each other, the stats certainly back up your story!

Huge game from Daicos the other night, after his last month forget RS I'd have him in the AA squad right now and if he keeps it up for the remainder of the year I can see him making it. Seriously impressive form a 1st year player.

Gibcus has been struggling his last few games and hurt his shoulder. Doubt he'll earn one.

Yes, the whole way along the season.
I meant no point arguing any further.
For someone who doesn’t care he is putting a lot of time and effort into fighting the fight
Not fighting, just providing some facts. If Curtis gets a nom, good on him.

I'm hoping Henry gets a nomination

Well to say he melted under pressure when the team was far worse it's stupid.

Anyway who cares. Meaningless nomination at this point of the season anyway.

It's a pretty decent honour for any player nominated and their local club they were drafted from get something from the AFL in recognition, would never say any weekly nomination is 'meaningless' by any means.

Hope Soligo gets a nomination before the season is out, Crows have found bit of a diamond in the rough player there.

Jesse Motlop is a chance to have a breakout game against the struggling Giants next week.

I had some reservations when we drafted him, but they have all disappeared, for for a young kid/teenager, he already has shown he has the belied and confidence at AFL level already (playing in the WAFL seniors probably helped)

Take the tiger glasses off. Cumberland was good but Curtis was absolutely vital in the result, added with the fact that North won the AFL will almost certainly go with him.

Easily better? Stop. Just stop.

Cumberland has been in the system for 3 years, this is Paul Curtis' first.

Yes. I also watched the game. Cumberland was good but had some poor misses and a big factor in the game was Richmond struggling to convert opportunities.

And you're kidding yourself if you think that when a struggling team gets a win with an eligible player having a big influence doesn't factor in.

Is it? I'd take a kid kicking 3 straight in a tight win over 3.4 in a tight loss. Don't be too upset when Curtis' nomination drops on Monday.

S

So essentially butchering those 4 shots cost you the game

Yeah cool, you can’t be rewarding a bloke that butchered those shots. He let himself and his team down.

Paul Curtis played a significant role in only North's 2nd win of the season

Unless another eligible potential nominee plays an absolute blinder tomorrow (or should I say today given its past midnight) I am absolutely certain PC gets the nomination this week.

Cos he kicked 3.4 instead of 3.0, weren't you reading?

Because Cumberland sprayed some shots, some very easy shots, and that makes him better.

Curtis took a boundary line contested mark and nailed the snap, but because Cumberland wasted his opportunities that makes him better.

Hit the nail on the head

Butchering shots does not make you better

And one bloke nailed his opportunities and help get his side over the line. The other melted under pressure and is part of the reason they lost

Yea and if the whole team kicked at Curtis' efficiency we'd win the game, not sure how your point makes sense.

You guys seen the coaches votes yet today? Only one of those two players got votes ;)

Coach known for favouring his own players in coaches votes (Hardwick) gives his own young player votes over the oppositions other young player. Colour me shocked.

Neither were in the top 5 players on the ground, but good to see Dimma still favours Richmond players
