the only thing the eagles are a chance of winning this year might be the ground raffle that goes around when they spectating the grandfinal! they wont be playin in it, come on head you and us all know that!Eagles had 41 @ training last night. Narrandera's Tim Ruffles to debut for Freemantle this Saturday against North Melbourne in ****en Canberra....should get a good 3-4,000 ??????
Why the AFL persists with playing so many games in Canberra is beyond me. While I might be a tad biased..why would you play somewhere where you get crowds like this when Narrandera was averaging 10,000 ????
The AFL response when questioned on why Narrandera wasn't getting another game was that they "wanted to spread the game to other centres which didn't get a game last year"....and then they go and schedule a couple of pre-season games in Canberra where the crowds have DECREASED over the years.

Don't know anything about it, but its nothing new if its true, it happens every year, can only hope that they want to play in the highest standard possible in the Area . If they don't get our players they will probably go after Narrandera's, can't do much about it except keep the fingers crossed that they go after Narrandera's .

was in canberra last week dj for swans v port game what an absolute disgrace would not have been any more than 2ooo people bring the footy to the country footy lovers
the club was in recess 2 years ago, they made it back last year into the rfl which is a higher standard than where they were previous which was farrer league. they didnt manage to win a game last year but are a club heading in the right direction. they have recruited some handy players this year and getting heaps of numbers to training. i have mates out there who say they have a great culture and have big turnouts for functions etc.. the coach is part of the raaf and a majority of there players come from there and only other thing i can say the coach is the shortest bloke going around who isnt a midget
its a credit to the people running the club to pull them back from where they were at one point. good luck to your mate theres far worst clubs in the area he could be at. another thing they have some of the best facilities also
Don't be put off by them briefly being in recess a couple of years back, or that they haven't won many games since re-admission. The club has tradition and a big junior base. Located in a suburban population growth area, and with the Charles Sturt Uni campus out that way. Good facilities, ambition and re-vitalised enthusiasm.
When amalgamations come along, I'd expect North Wagga to be the parent club of an amalgamated future north of the river.
So your mate shouldn't expect instant finals, but they said that about Chris Judd when he first went to Carlton didn't they.

whatever-it was hardly one of heads bigger sprays and there are heaps bigger w***ers on bigfooty.....you know, the gutless type that hide behind a user name - we all know who head is and he still says it how he sees it.

Was talking to a player from Lockhart and he said they had 8 regular first graders out, Also saying Matt Hard was very fit and got plenty of it, How many did the Hoppers have out?

From what I understand Mango are going to be relying on their kids this year. They've struggled to pick up players and for reasons I'm not sure of they are losing a lot of players. I expect them to be a lot similar to East Wagga last year...Speaking of, has the coach arrived yet? Eastern Hawks Have been rather quiet aswell.
North Waggas Confidence is growing after a good trial match and huge numbers at training, hope this means improvement from last year!!
Ricky has arrived and has had an immediate impact from what I hear. Few players very impressed with his attitude.
