My god that lad was born to play for Carlton, as our general at CHB.

Gonna watch the replay to see if he was good on Tee Vee as I thought he was at the game.

We went at it like a bat out of hell from the start and it told in the end. They just had that extra class that separates two tired teams. Great game to watch though. Loved the smarts shown by Cripps to get his goal, and Weitering in general.

I was thinking that... I'm waiting for certain bitchmond supporters to come out blaming their outs for the lack of a massive margin.

Bolton, Weitering, Cripps - Those names alone are making me excited to watch Carlton games this year.

Do a general forum search for "Weitering". A lot of the footy boards/opposition fans have taken notice of the boy!

Had too many smalls who can't contest in the air.
Casboult won't kick a goal unless he is in the goalsquare.

Phillips won some good taps but we couldn't take advantage of them.

Some great signs tonight. Our shortfalls were there for all to see but so were our positives. A few missed tackles and some missed shots at goal but geez they worked hard. The run was fantastic and the game plan allows them to enjoy their footy. They don't seem scared to make a mistake. A bit of polish and a key forward and we win that game quite comfortably. Plenty to work with.

Played hard, done good...it could've gone either way. I think most of the off-season pickups contributed. Phillips(?) in the ruck is gonna be a giant plus for you guys this year...dammit ! I was actually barracking for Carlton in the last qtr...

A lot to like in the VFL today by reports. Byrne and Silvagni the most impressive of the players likely to strengthen the senior side in time, but Jaksch, Gorringe, Jones, Dick, JGM and DVR seem to have gone well.

JGM is the one we are waiting for as he is a true KPD.
