The same people that drafted Kane Lucas ahead of Daniel Talia and Nat Fyfe
I blame the people who traded our original first round pick for McLean when a second rounder would have gotten the job done.

Been saying it for years, we will never ever be anything of substance with Casboult in the team, he has never been up to it in front of goal when we desperately need him to be.

He will be persisted with this season because we don't have anyone else to replace him right now but seriously, he is on borrowed time.

Was so disappointed for him, the team and the supporters when he shanked those shots.

Casboult needs urgent corrective surgery on his goal-kicking....I'd be bringing in a Lockett or Dunstall immediately....He has zero confidence & it's going to be a killer for blues fans with those great hands of his.

Can't believe how many blokes walk left or right when kicking for goal, then the ball proceeds to go left or right.o_O.....From both sides.

FFS.....These are professional full-time footballers....How difficult can such a fundamental skill be?....Walk in a straight line directly towards the middle of the goals & do not veer off the line before kicking.

Dear oh.

I liked the footage of Wright from last year. He looks to be a really good player. Pity for your mob that he was forced out because of the Menzel trade (I think that we will win that one just quietly :))
Well so far, one just kicked 3 goals in an AFL team in front of 70,000 people, and the other will be running around in the reserves trying to get match-fit in front of 2,500 people, so I guess you'd be winning at the moment. Eventually I think Menzel will make it and we'll get to exploit some of that ridiculous talent. But I take nothing away from Wright, he was always underestimated by the Crows.

See how well Murph can play when people believe in him!! So proud of our skipper tonight.
Something has clicked in him as captain too. It's like a weight has been lifted and he's going about his business as skipper, more relaxed and no fuss. Could be maturity in the role but also coaching etc too.

Wasn't Wright delisted and Carlton picked him up as a free agent? Not sure if that numbs the pain at all ;)

How refreshing that was, as I've posted in the membership thread, get on board, good times ahead.

Murph, Cripps, Gibbs, Kerridge, Graham, Ed Curnow. Making of a good midfield that.

Of the new blokes, Wright was more than handy, Lamb lively, Kerridge very good (disposal needs tidying up), and Phillips has good tap work & moves well.

As for our pick No.1 debutant, one piece of play sums it up. Early last, Tigers break forward, long kick, first thing I saw long was a pack with number 23 in it. I instantly felt calm, no embellishment. Cannot remember ever feeling like that about a first gamer before & he's a key position back. Wow.

Gutted we lost, yet even that seems progression. Lots to be positive about Bluebaggers. A modern game plan with modern training/fitness techniques will work wonders as well. Loving new Carlton.

When it comes to Kerridge, Crows supporters have smugly said to me "You'll see. You'll see."
Indeed, indeed, I think we can already identify where his weaknesses are. He's still decently young though.

Even Curnow who is renowned for being a butcher handled things pretty well tonight. Kerridge has moments where he's so good you just hope the gulf between his best and worst can be made less.
