Go and have a look at clearances around the contest in first 15 mins of final quarter when the game was there to be won..
I said in the offseason that if Plowman can somehow turn himself into a threat up forward (which theoretically should be a possibility) then we could contend for finals.
Still hold this view after tonight's game
I blame the people who traded our original first round pick for McLean when a second rounder would have gotten the job done. The same people that drafted Kane Lucas ahead of Daniel Talia and Nat Fyfe
Been saying it for years, we will never ever be anything of substance with Casboult in the team, he has never been up to it in front of goal when we desperately need him to be.
He will be persisted with this season because we don't have anyone else to replace him right now but seriously, he is on borrowed time.
don't know how he's on TV.Mark Stevens: "you look on edge"

Well so far, one just kicked 3 goals in an AFL team in front of 70,000 people, and the other will be running around in the reserves trying to get match-fit in front of 2,500 people, so I guess you'd be winning at the moment. Eventually I think Menzel will make it and we'll get to exploit some of that ridiculous talent. But I take nothing away from Wright, he was always underestimated by the Crows.I liked the footage of Wright from last year. He looks to be a really good player. Pity for your mob that he was forced out because of the Menzel trade (I think that we will win that one just quietly )
Something has clicked in him as captain too. It's like a weight has been lifted and he's going about his business as skipper, more relaxed and no fuss. Could be maturity in the role but also coaching etc too.See how well Murph can play when people believe in him!! So proud of our skipper tonight.
It was worth it when he kicked that goal against Richmond....I blame the people who traded our original first round pick for McLean when a second rounder would have gotten the job done.

It's early doors but true in time we need mids who'll be ruthless and we need to replace MM one day tooMurph was hurt and the rest didn't lift - those 5-6 clearances won them the game - that has to be looked at very closely at training I suspect.
Interesting theory Geoffrey but cannot agree whatsoever.
Indeed, indeed, I think we can already identify where his weaknesses are. He's still decently young though. When it comes to Kerridge, Crows supporters have smugly said to me "You'll see. You'll see."
Just a genuinely shit bloke that guy. Sure call him bad at his job and a clown etc and rant away but in the end, he is just a bad excuse for a man. I feel bad for his kids if he ever has any.Mark Stevens: "you look on edge"
