Davies is a hack. Joseph is worse.

I'd rather see Kane Lucas get a run with role. At least he has talent and therefore potential.
If you want the side to have a crack for four quarters, then Davies and Joseph would be picked ahead of Lucas. Davies had a crack after he gave away that ridiculous free kick in the finals last year. Sugar is a gun talent, but he put in short steps against Rooke in his first season. Won the next contest and hard ball against Chapman, so he does go after getting a bake. The match committee obviously wants Lucas to do it consistently before he becomes a regular.

I just want to see us respond. We've been attacked from all angles, all flipping week. Fire up boys! Don't let a single Cat run past you without a stern forearm to the body. Bump, niggle, talk smack, back each other up, get your head over the ball and win that next contest.

Just hope Lucas isn't the next Grigg.

is this a serious concern? lucas into his 3rd year, first round pick, can't get a game when we there is a bare cupboard to pick from.

we all knew grigg had the ability to play afl (besides his sky high kicking) hopefully lucas has a better attitude.

Aside from injuries, we have too many outside players in our side right now which makes a win very hard.

If we want to get over the line tonight they will need to find the courage to run in straight lines more than they are used to.

Even though it is not in their psych, we need the likes of Kade, Garlett, Bett, Boots, Russell, Gibbs, Hampson, Yarran, Hendo, Warnock, and Collins to go hard at the physical contest. We need our VFL class players like AJ, Brock and Armfield to lift to AFL class. They try hard enough but can be exposed - especially AJ and Brock for different reasons.

Overall, it is the collective effort that will count - so showing commitment is enough even if we lose!

Unfair post to several players.

Simmo, Boots, Hendo and Collins go in plenty hard. Brock has been more then good enough the past two weeks and shouldn't be listed with AJ who has been downright poor all round.

Other players do need to improve, but the problems have been structural and the loss of class, not hardness.

@ Blue and Silver.

I've probably been too harsh. Rather than individuals, it is that collective numbers bit that counts more as an issue. One week it might be 4/5 of those players going wide, or not making a physical statement, the next week some other group of those players. Individually, TheGeneral will be able to provide a video of each player's instance of courage.

Absolutely we have been targeted in this area by opposition teams so it is DEF an issue with our club. It was why Duigan had such a huge impact in defence last year. Not because of his skills, but because of his physicality. This year, Duigan just hasnt been right to make an impact.

Seem to recall you doing similar things with Bentick criticism back in the day. :p

One thing being disappointed with how the team's going. Posts like this just piss me off.
I had to defend AB because I was his official buddy - holy **** how long ago was that! Find me a time when I ever brought an AB critic to task in a thread where AB had no relevance and he had not even been mentioned ala TG did bringing up some Watson crap out of his arse. I am sick of vindictive crap and just as I might voice my opinion about football matters, I am also going to voice my opinion about posting standards

Blah, blah, blah, what a load of crap.

The last 6 weeks in this bizzaro season really hasn't shown whether we are flat track bullies, no good, injury ridden, poorly coached or whatever.

Tonights mob is one of the benchmarks of the competition.

After tonight we will genuinely find out how we stand amongst the big kids, and I can't wait.

Bagger's by a Bee's dick. :)

Numbers how can you quote the statement about how he feels and say that is a load of crap - it is how he feels
