Horses for courses for mine. In some games you will need more inside mids, in some you won't. The fact we were towelled up in the centre by Adelaide and West Coast (for 3 quarters) shows that IMO an extra one wouldn't do any harm.

JT isn't purely inside either, on the spread he's fine so he really doesn't come into that calculation for mine. As far as Adams vs Ball goes, there's really not too much wrong with playing both if they both produce what they need.

If it comes up that we only need one, well then Ball has the runs on the board at the moment.

Simple, JT was far better than Adams last week. JT was in our top 5, Adams was probably in our bottom 5 against the Saints.

And you can't just ignore his poor kicking to make your argument. That DOES play a factor.

Yes, I agree it has a Factor but I just think sending him to the VFL would not fix that problem

Fair call. Just hard to figure who misses for him with Swan and Ball back.

Basically it's a big call to play Adams, JT and Ball in the same side, although I agree that JT's outside game is the clear best of the three on current form.

I'd love to see JT make a permanent spot his own, he's a beauty and played a great game last week. I also agree with Dave that the best thing for Adams (not necessarily the best thing for the team in the short term) is to leave him in the seniors. Which leaves Bally out, but I reckon that Bucks sees him as best 22 still. So Adams misses out.

It's definitely a good problem to have.

Thomas can hold his own as an inside mid so agree, 1 of Ball or Adams is logical.

The simple fact that ANY player has to wear the vest annoys me.....get rid of subs. They are superfluous to the game...the quicker we get back to "everyone's as good as anyone else" the better. NO player wants to be the sub. No player deserves to be the sub.

It's an idiotic concept, an early injury affects the rotations and can decide the game, just have 6 on the interchange and leave the maximum rotations as is

On last week's performances there should be no question that JT plays before Adams. Adams had 2 more tackles but JT kicked 3 goals and had 11 more touches. I want to see them both played but if there is a choice, it is beyond clear IMO.

Would love to see Broomy and Swan in. Ball, Dwyer and one of Grundy/Witts as emergencies.
