Out: McGovern (OMMITED NOT RESTED), Betts, Simpson, Murphy, Casboult, Cripps and Doc
In: TDK, Owies, Plowman, Kennedy, Gibbons, LoB & Cunners

SPS needs to be moved or dropped. One or the other.

The team will be what it was last night with a change or 2 or 3. No one should expect wholesale changes. Now we are playing for pride, if we could beat Sydney and Adelaide (can’t see us beating Brisbane), 8 wins during a 17 round season would be a superb outcome.

Out: Cripps, Eddie, Simmo, Pitt and Cas.

In: Cunningham, Owies, Plow, TDK and Kennedy.

Cunners mainly in the guts, Kennedy mainly up forward but option is there for them to swap.

Could maybe get someone like Cottrell to play Samo’s role and bring in Philp or Honey. Hard to justify SPS this week.

Drop Cripps, for the love of god. Just do it. Kennedy or Cunners in.
SPS was invisible. Seriously, 5 possies playing as a HB distributor? **** off mate. Out he goes to get Gibbons back in the side.
Manage Betts, give Owies his chance.
"Manage" (read: move on from) Simmo if Plowman is available.
If Harry or Cas need a spell, TDK comes back in.
Give Dow a rocket. With Cripps out the expectation should be that he steps up to start winning the ball at stoppages.

Love what the Swans are doing, but I am very confident we can and should win this game.

Rest players if need be, but talk of dropping all senior bodies and playing the kids is over the top.

These last 4 games remain of huge importance.

3 games left.

I do think it is important to give LOB, Owies and possibly Ramsay a run in there though.

Genuinely think this is the only logical opportunity to get some game time into players like Philp, LOB, Owies even Ramsey.

I'm not usually a fan of wholesale changes but think we can do it with now, especially with the crammed schedule.

Would also like Cunners and Kennedy brought back in while keeping SPS (but strictly through the middle/HF) and Dow in the team.

We need to figure out what these lads have, let them go out and play freely.

There is still a ****load to play for. If Cripps needs a rest so be it, he has earnt it.

We have been deprived of wins for far too long, I want the strongest, hungriest team out there to goddamn win.

Last night was infuriating, Pies was maddening and losing to the Hawks just mindblowing. The team is nearly there, the coach is a damn good coach. ITs just frustrating we cannot put four quarters together.

I am concerned they will rope a dope us like they did against Melbourne. Flood the backline, lose the I50s but score on the rebound.

Sack Teague if we lose this game and bring in Lee Matthews (some toughness).

In: Plowman, Marchbank, O'Brien, De Koning, Cuningham
Out: Polson, Docherty (rest), Simpson, Casboult,Cottrell

B: Plowman----------------Jones-------------------Williamson

H: Dow-------------------Weitering-----------------Marchbank

C: Newnes-----------------Cripps--------------------OBrien

H: Cuningham------------McGovern-----------------Martin

F: Betts--------------------McKay--------------------Fisher

Foll: Pittonet, Setterfield, SPS

Bench: De Koning, Murphy, E.Curnow, Walsh

We'll be lucky to see 1 change this week. Maybe Dow out for Cuningham.
Not what I'd like to see, but what I expect to see, given our MC.

I would love to see it.

You'll be seeing these kinds of posts from me a lot.

Cripps/Setterfield/Dow or Kennedy does not work...there is not enough leg speed or two-way running in this group and they are all 'inside' mids. Too much hard running is being left to Curnow/Walsh/Murphy/Cottrell. Need more balance in the midfield.

Look at the top midfields...eg West Coast, Richmond, Geelong. Midfield stacked with BALANCED mids who are good on the inside and outside, and are good runners. Our midfield has too many mids who are purely inside and don't spread from a contest well or apply good defensive pressure.

We need someone like Cunners or Martin to support Cripps/Setterfield in the centre square...they looked really good in there when they had the opportunity against Geelong and Essendon. Provide a bit of speed and overlap run that has been sorely missing.
