So is Kruezer out for the year? Somebody told me he was not going to play again this year?
Wouldn't surprise me if we "cotton-wool" him.

The guy has been forced to play every week with a knee being drained and that damn hip..

Maybe they will look at doing what they can to ensure his motor is properly purring for 2013 and I wouldn't blame them.

Yeah well a friend of mine rang me this morning and told me. Don't know where he heard it, or if there is any truth to it but please don't hold me to it.

Oh boy oh boy. Remember when the injuries first started mounting up, from Round 4 on, and we all said well at least we'll have everyone up and running at the pointy end of the season?

Given the team sheet for Saturday you have to see the funny side. Its so far beyond a joke that it is a joke.

Oh and I think we should all send Patch Adams a big hearty congratulations on his miraculous and speedy recovery, grwoing a new arm and all.

Still reckon we're a chance in this one. Its up to our fringe players to stake their claim.

A vfl squad would rarely (almost never) beat an afl squad.

No ruckman. No key forwards. One half fit senior defender. Sorry ladies and gents, but this will be very ugly.

I have to agree with you unfortunately. 11 senior players out is just too much for any side.

Tend to agree. But hey, miracles can happen. Ask the Roos. Adams is back just one week after his arm was ripped clean off.

I reckon you're being generous there. Same conclusion though.

Am trying to figure out where this game will be won. To be honest, I thought the midfield was the area where we are least weakened, then I remembered that we don't have a ruckman. Assuming that Jamo drops out, it would seem our forward line, the same front half that is missing amongst others Tex and Waiter, and is carrying one of the most out of form players in the comp in Jeff, is where we could win the game. Bugger me.

Who trundled off to the G in Round 4 with a spring in their step? What a debacle of a season.

I nearly shed a tear for Adams, what a fighter, pulling up for this week.

In other news, ouch... Let's hope we see some positives. I didn't realise Lucas was out as well, it even curbs some of the enthusiasm I had for seeing the young guys. Hope to see some good signs.

Posted a congrats to Leigh Adams on his miraculous recovery on the North board and it was deleted within minutes. And this after a previous poster had taken the piss out of us naming Joseph.

Its an eye-opener, the North board. They don't just have voodoo dolls of Juddy full of pins on there, but Grant Thomas, Dennis Cometti and the MRP are heavily spiked there too. Certainly don't like a contrary opinion the old Shinboners.

Casboult from the Blue

CARLTON is banking on the youthful energy of debutant Levi Casboult as the Blues attempt to get their season back on track without a recognised ruckman against the Western Bulldogs.
With Shaun Hampson (knee) done for the season and Rob Warnock serving a VFL suspension, Matthew Kreuzer was the last ruck standing at the club, but he has succumbed to the hip injury he picked up against Collingwood two weeks ago.

WB paying $2.98 for the win....very good value there considering the side we are sending out tomorrow night....I've got my happiness insurance down already

Try sitting with them at the game BS.

It paid off for me in the Port, Saints and Adelaide games....odds were all too good to be true at the time and I didn't think we would win those game (Well, the Port one I thought we would get up but I thoguht the sides were alot closer than the odds suggested).

Gotta bet with the head, not the heart. It's win win for me though, if Carlton lose, I win money, and if Carlton win, well then I'm happy :p
