It paid off for me in the Port, Saints and Adelaide games....odds were all too good to be true at the time and I didn't think we would win those game (Well, the Port one I thought we would get up but I thoguht the sides were alot closer than the odds suggested).

Gotta bet with the head, not the heart. It's win win for me though, if Carlton lose, I win money, and if Carlton win, well then I'm happy :p
Many head punters are probably well ahead backing against us when we have been silly odds but I just cannot come at the Dogs but if we lose one more player (Mitch gone) you would have to think we should not be favs

Not sure of severity. Its a tricky injury that sometimes lingers around. Hopefully it's precautionary and misses just this one.

Keep an eye on the northern blues to see if the other emergencies play, there possibly could be one other withdrawal if not all goes well.

Ahh let's hope it's not another hot spot in his foot.

Thanks Molly

I'd like too see Dale giving a go. I don't mind Ellard, but I just want to see some of these kids:thumbsu:

Reckon it will depend on the club's attitude. If they think they can and want to make finals I think they'll go with Ellard, otherwise Dale will probably be given a run.

If Joseph doesn't come up for the game, Dale and Ellard will probably both play. We'll have to keep an eye on the final Northern Blues squad to see if Simon White plays or not.
Thanks for the update Molly.

Well Rattan is fighting to keep his job so would likely be Ellard in. However I don't think we will make the finals, so whether it's this week or not it would be great to get some games into some of the kids.

I suspect we'd be playing some of the injured players or maybe even Waite of they were serious about finals

Oh man, just reminded by the 7 coverage that tomorrow is a Sat night game and that complete Arseclown Big Rex wannabe Brian Taylor is lead commentator on Sat night. Could it get any fricken worse?

No but i think its right to fight to the end with the players you have left and never put the cue in the rack ever. I never give up no matter what.

In case you didn't notice, the team put the cue in the rack in the following games:

Adelaide (after Murphy got injured)
Port Adelaide
Hawthorn
Kangaroos
St Kilda

As soon as things don't go their way, you can see it, they drop their pressure and let teams run over them. The only time they have showed some resolve was against the Pies this year and against the Tigers in round 1.

When we had to face Freo, almost everyone was dancing over the fact that Sandilands was out, I wanted him to play, I wanted us to face the best possible team each side can put out there and beat them that way. But unfortunately, the team's resolve this year has been very poor and to expect it to change all of a sudden, it would be miraculous imo. It needs to be worked on in the off season. I do NOT want them to give up from now on and put the cue in the rack, but I fear that they will if they lose the next couple.
