Remember when some folks grizzled that we paid too much for Mcgovern ?

I would do that same trade 10 times over, players who can kick 3 goals in a quarter are as rare as Hen's Teeth.

He also strikes me as a extrovert on field, and players (especially our kids) respond to his zest and enthusiasm.

If he keeps this form up, he may very well end up as the next cult figure of our footy clun

Power was trying to lurch through the tackle and Setters simply pinned his arms and held on as he fell.

Was he supposed to let him go??

He certainly didn’t pick him up and slam him down.

Seriously soap - call that for what it is a pathetic half of football all round.
We played well for 15 mins that qtr and that’s all we’ve done and we are in front such is the level of the opposition. Rubbish. Coaching is putrid and players lack confidence, skill level is a joke as is the case most weeks where we lose games due to poor skill and execution.
Your optimism is tiring.

Kennedy should be playing, we should not be playing Fisher in as many centre bounce clearances as we do. We are miles off it and a Monty for the spoon in my view and bolts will go this year mark my words. Talk is cheap.

Setters needs to be closer to Swallow, but doing okay

Aside from Nic Newman who needs a kick up the bum, our defence has been great. They’ve had 31 inside 50s and we’ve repelled most of it.

We struggle forward of the ball because we seem incapable of lowering the eyes.
