We're going to get spanked the players won't improve ball movement overnight. If the players really want Bolton to continue coaching they will win it for him in a scrappy affair this is what I am predicting - otherwise my fears are warranted in they have been indoctrinated incorrectly and need new ideas albeit perhaps 12 months late.
Kennedy will make a huge difference finally a mature body to help Cripps they have fat more synergy than Fischer.
Fischer will be a better forward with midfield stints

I'm thinking both Charlie and McGovern might be outs - hence Levi.
I reckon Fisher could be tried as a forward pocket he is at his best when he has the ball in hand -looking to kick a goal, Fisher is a very elusive runner.
Would like to see Kennedy in.

I'd rather Charlie got the extra week, considering his pattern of low grade knees recently. We have a decent record at Metricon, hopefully we increase on that.

Some of these guys are being named just for the team-bonding trip. Stocker isn't a serious chance this week.
I’m not so sure I think foot ballers who can kick are 50% better than average kickers and turnovers if they rate him why not might be a development year for the club

LOB, Gibbons and Gov out. Charlie, Kennedy and JSOS in.
Where the fudge is the love for LOB?!

He worked his way into the game last week. What about the handball-receive he got in the middle, then hitting up a target on the lead inside-50 ... top shelf stuff

With our young blokes, all I want to see are glimpses. SOMETHING to let us know they're worth persisting with

LOB should not be dropped

Very poor early but worked into it. I prefer kids getting a block of games for confidence.

Ah there is that word, indoctrinated

One thing I do admire about you plonk, is the whole "right or wrong never in doubt"

A bit of respect goes a long way. Something worth thinking about.
No, it really isnt.

If "showing respect" means ignoring that our club is about to select a team with 5 key position forwards then count me out. I'm a fan of many things our club has done of late, but there's some very concerning things happening atm. These issues needed to be pointed out. They need to be discussed. And I feel like you're a poor supporter if you dont ask these questions.

Geez if Jack gets selected too thats 6 forwards 192 cm+ in our 22.

List from Afl.com.au
  • INTERCHANGE FROM*
  • 7 Matthew Kennedy
  • 24 Nic Newman
  • 29 Cameron Polson
  • 4 Lochie O'Brien
  • 1 Jack Silvagni
  • 30 Charlie Curnow
  • 13 Liam Stocker
  • 40 Michael Gibbons
Who are we cutting?

This game needs got be about winning sunday, no eyes on the future, no development, but the best side to win this game. Surely Curnow isn't fit, if he is Cas surely goes out, so I'm ignoring him. Polson is out, Stocker is out, Curnow out and LOB. Gibbons on his last chance and to play midfield.

We can't afford to have 3-4 players getting 7 or less touches this week.

Your current gripe is Levi getting pick

Let's be realistic, Charlie and Gov have been selected on the hope they will both come up given it is a Sunday game but I suspect one or both won't

But if the do, Levi will be left out

Curnow won’t play. McGovern more likely.
That’s one helluva an ordinary forward line. Rest of the team looks alright but where will the goals come from m?
GC by 20 points. Dew wants it more than Bolton.

That's the way I would go.

I'm assuming Charlie isn't ready. If he was good to go, he would be named in the squad, not on the extended bench. Could be a test though.

I actually think it's the other way around. Curnow more likely than McGovern.
