It’s difference in experience. Can’t expect TDK to dominate over a mature ruckman… our mids need to be at the drop of Witts tap.

TDK just isn’t a first ruck IMO.

Great guy to have relieving and provide a different look, but his actual ruck craft is terrible.

He will fluke to occasional perfect hitout, otherwise he’s a liability.

Time to chunk JSOS in there and try to gain ascendency at ground level.

The idea of TDK is better than the reality of TDK currently.

Levi Casboult is an extremely ungrateful moron. He has played more AFL games than he should have because of how ordinary we were for so long. Other AFL clubs weren't exactly knocking down our door to take him off our hands.

He is no longer part of the Carlton family. He can piss right off.

Seriously?!?

The guy wanted to play on, they gave him a chance. Why the **** wouldn’t he be grateful to them? It’s not about us, he is thanking the Suns for giving him a game.

Pretty poor take on it from you. He put his body on the line repeatedly when we were shit and got smashed week in and week out. He earned his spot, who was better that he kept out of the side ? No one, that’s who.

He has every right to celebrate a goal, thankfully you don’t get to decide who is part of the Carlton family.

Unlike last yr when they beat us we actually lead them by disposals and inside 50’s only one behind 29-28, not bad considering how poor we’ve been.

Can get back into this with some fine tuning

Our defence is full of holes, we are super vulnerable to short kicking. Our zone is shit.

Our tackling is terrible as it was last week.

Our disposal is rough as guts. Too many missed handballs and hack kicks.

A few blokes doing nothing out there.

Badly missing Durdin, we have no one at ground level. We are badly lacking speed. Badly missing McGovern, defence went sour the moment he went down.

Being beaten by a team who kick the ball short through our terrible zone, too strong somehow to tackle and too fast.

I’m surprised Motlop wasn’t considered this week.

The idea of TDK is better than the reality of TDK currently.

I think a fair amount of posters always thought Pitto was the better no.1 ruck choice.

Some though get seduced by TDK's leap and think he can shoulder the no.1 ruck duties, when he clearly can't. Pitto's physical approach means he basically never gets dominated, he at least halves the contest which is all our mids need. Pretty hard to defend though when Witts is getting clear taps and taking it out of the ruck.

Dow has been good but Kennedy has more than earned his spot. And Stocker doesn’t play in the mildfield.

Wouldn’t have hit 50 games at most clubs.

Was carried through by virtue of being one of few key position players on the list, and probably retained in his last couple of years because Curnow was injured.

He’s now on a base wage rookie contract at the Gold Coast and will inevitably be replaced as King comes back in.

His display was pretty petty.

What we hope for is not to get dominated himself, at least halve the contests. But he isn't.

Ridiculous. It's as simple as vfl form vs afl form. Kennedy is the weakest of the starting contested midfielders. Stocker amd Dow are building form.

No one's spot should be considered safe except maybe the top few players.

It's laughable to believe that someone with 5 to half time is beyond reproach
