Wonder if Sydney will sit Crouch or Jack next to Ablett in the stands just in case.
It would help the swans if they did both!
I went against the grain last week and picked Kornes when most went for GAJ (I didn't have him so the choice was easy!). Kornes 118, GAJ 90.
Most people going for Cox, this week I have him so the choice is harder.
Might go with Chad just to be different.
Others to consider
Buddy v Essendon - Two 9 goals (130+ DT) hauls in his last 3 against the Bombers.
Lockyer v St Kilda - HB back of the Pies will get a workout against the Saints zone.
S.Fisher v Collingwood - ditto re HB line, plus last 4 games v Coll 122, 72, 113, 129.
Pavlich v Carlton - 6 100+ games out of last 9.

I'm not too sure how bad his shoulder is. I would make sure you paid alot of attention to you VC choice if you pick him, just in case.
Wouldnt pick pavlich easier - different role, and most of his great scores against carlton were when they were cellar dwellars to say the least.

would anyone consider putting fevs as captain?
i no its a risk but i dont think freo really have the proper match up for him and remembering last year when Fevs would go out a kick a bag of goals the next week he would generally back it up with another bag. Plus watching him on footy classified i could sence he is pumped for this game.

lol i don't even have fev in my team...glad to hear it

the risk of having him captain is huge and IMO is never worth doing
I also think that a player appearing pumped is not a good reason to make them captain
Recent record Freo 9 - Carlton 1 is something to consider as well
I was going to put marc in my team this week and give him the C , but i thought judd,gibbs,murphy would b 2 much

haha well i figure in my leagues i should get up in all games fairly comfortably same goes with eliminator so may aswell throw in a smokey as captain
doesnt hurt that he's my favourite player either haha so barring news of forecasted rain fevs it is, otherwise ill just go with Cox
