Kerr has to be a chance.
Got to be a huge chance in this game. Essendon are hopelessly out of form
you know there is a team out there that can fix that........

Cant see Phillips being dropped and leaving Kreuz to ruck whole game on his own unless Jones rucks or bring in TDK.

IIRC he's not too bad in the ruck.
As Weitering and Marchbank should be back next week, maybe Jones could replace Levi up forward.

That would be great for team balance...and leave him up forward as Jone's position in defence theoretically belongs to Jacob.

Much better idea than Kerr just at this stage, although not ideal.

What an injury crisis we have on our hands and we just can't do anything about it.

2 things need to be rectified to help us win next week
1- poor ball users out of the half back line i.e O’Shea mullet
2- speed... anyone even a Polson regardless of form

Cannot be playing Phillips and Krooz in the same team. Cannot be playing Rowe and Jones in the same backline. Cannot be playing Cam O’Shea in the backline. (Someone noted he had 80% DE, it’s one thing to hit a target, it’s another to hit a target that’s in a position to do something with the ball. Also, as a defender O’Shea’s positioning and attack on the ball is not AFL standard).

Out: Phillips, Jones, Casboult (injured) O’Shea

In: Weitering, Charlie, Marchy, Lang

Four talls out for three talls and a small is a better mix as well, and yes I would give Nicky G another game.

Kerr is unlucky but I’m not sure how he fits, even with Levi injured.

Mullett used it well. Jones although good defensively was bad with ball. As was O’shea and Simpson. Half the back 6 had stinkers by foot but Mullett wasn’t one.

In: Charlie Curnow, Weitering & Kerr
Out: O'Shea, Phillips & Casboult (injury)

For the people putting lang in, did you see his VFL game yesterday? He isn't close to being match fit yet. Let Marchbank come back through the reserves, his body isn't 100% right and at least this way we can properly manage his minutes. Kerr has been playing well in the VFL and based on form deserves a call up IMO. Although I'm happy for the MC to keep him in the VFL if necessary, just seems like an opportunity to get him in.

Out:
O’Shea
Phillips
Graham
Casbolt
Rowe - unlucky

In:
Marchbank
Curnow
Lang
Kerr
Weitering

Would love to see Kerr in, but suspect Kreuze will continue to need ruck back up unless we use a combination
of Harry, Jones and even Kerr who have all pinch hit in the twos. Trouble is Kreuzer still looks hampered so
Phillips good chance of retaining his spot.

Kerr can pinch hit in the ruck, don't think he's any worse than Cas in that position TBH.
