Simple.

Just as truth is an absolute defence against defamation action; truth is also a defence against Mod action.

And who could deny that the thread title is true, fair and accurate?
Interesting observation Sir, I don't subscribe to point of view.

Robbo just looked like Gerard hit him in the back of the head with a shovel when Gerard said "WADA is likely to appeal a not guilty verdict" like he had not given that possibility any thought

No it's proberly the delayed reaction he can't have a long lunch tomorrow given his role are EFC PR manager

As I have said before.

Who are the silly fcukers who blew millions of dollars on doing the right thing.
Booted from a finals series.
Complete club turmoil.
Embarrassment caused by eachother
The list reads like the dead sea scrolls.

Even if the players are cleared tomorrow, was it worth the last 3 years?

I think the relevant issue now is whether EFC have been doing the right thing since the saga started. One would expect they have addressed the weaknesses in their systems and a repeat, highly unlikely. What is done, is done. It's likely they will get off tomorrow and be humble about what follows.

THIS is the HIRD question

Robbo asked more hard questions of the Pies in one night than he has asked about Essendon in 2 years.

It was comical to see the fat fool try and be 'hard'. Bloke is an a grade flog. Karma is a bitch Robbo, the shingles were just the start, your life is going to be like the 10 plagues Moses dumped on Eygpt.

Look who he's conjoined to?

They won't come over the top. If it's not guilty WADA will know Asada blew it

Got news for you. It'll have nothing to do with ASADA did. If WADA thinks there's a case there'll be an appeal.

Danks WILL get done for administering banned drugs to Essendon players, and more than just TB4, even if the players get off on a technicality, which is a good chance. That being the case they'll appeal.

THIS is the HIRD question
One would hope that James Hird has recognized any shortcomings in his approach to coaching. As he has been retained as coach by EFC it would appear they have confidence in him leading the club going forward. As an Essendon supporter you can only put your faith in the decision makers at your club who have been dealing with the saga for over two years now and have a better vantage point of all the issues. By the looks of things the players are very happy to have him as their coach which would have some influence on what the Board decided to do with Hird.

If was anyone but Hird, would we be having the same chat?

No other person other than Hird at EFC would have survived.

Dank will be getting banned for life tomorrow no doubt about it.

That would suggest that James Hird is the right man to be leading the club going forward. If he is the only one who would survived this saga, why would the club even contemplate anyone else.
