From my perspective so far:

FB: Nick Haynes - Harris Andrews - Adam Saad
HB: Sam Docherty - Jacob Weitering - James Sicily
MF: Jy Simpkin - Lachie Neale - Harry Perryman
HF: Tom Papley - Levi Casboult - Chad Wingard
FF: Daniel Butler - Charlie Dixon - Charlie Cameron
OB: Todd Goldstein - Patrick Cripps - Scott Pendlebury
IC: Matthew Rowell - Taylor Adams - Travis Boak - Luke Parker

Robbie Tarrant, DBJ to miss out in defence in particular.

Wingard 9 goals in 4 games. Also ahead of Ryan.

Not competing.

Wingard would be in line for one of those HF spots they give to half forwards, mids who play forward a mid and forwards who play mid a bit depending on which year it is.

They tend to just pick one forward pocket now in the AA side. Right now that would be Cameron.

It's really hard to get a gauge with the shortened quarters.

B: Adam Saad, Harris Andrews, Nick Haynes

HB: Daniel Houston, Jacob Weitering, Sam Docherty

C: Hugh McCluggage, Matthew Rowell, Steele Sidebottom

HF: Chad Wingard, Levi Casboult, Patrick Dangerfield

F: Tom Papley, Charlie Dixon, Charlie Cameron

R: Todd Goldstein, Scott Pendlebury, Lachie Neale

INT: Jy Simpkin, Brodie Grundy, Travis Boak, Touk Miller

Good team. Seriously be shocking if a first year player makes AA but bloody hell Rowell deserves it at this point.

Would love if he won the Brownlow.

FB: Maynard - Andrews - Howe
HB: Saad - Weitering - Docherty
C: Gaff - Rowell - McCluggage
HF: Butler - Casboult - Papley
FF: C.Cameron - Dixon - Wingard
RR: Goldstein - Boak - Neale
INT: Pendlebury - Simpkin - Adams - Rampe

Round 4 changes:
In- Rowell, Maynard, Butler, McCluggage, Rampe, Wingard, Casboult
Out- Cripps, Hurn, Heeney, Fyfe, Sicily, Perryman, Taberner

I will go through the roof if/when Tarrant misses again.
Interesting year so far for tall backs. They have been dominating the key forwards so far with almost no bags being kicked. I can see at least 4 or more key defenders that all have llegitimate claims so far.
Tarrant, Weitering, Andrews, Jonas and Haynes all been very good
No-one has got on top of McEvoy I think yet either

From the Suns:

Rowell on form needs to be in there with potentially 3 B.O.G performances.

Outside of him, I don't think we have too many massive standouts.

If you are looking at specialist wingman, Ellis in the 2 games he has played since coming back from injury he has been great for us.

Collins has been big for us down back marking anything in his general vicinity.

Would have had Weller up there, but he had a pretty poor game against Freo.

Witts has been massive for us, but I haven't seen enough of the other teams ruckmen.

I think for the Suns it has been a more even performance as opposed to a couple of massive stand outs.

Simpkin has to just about be in, more than likely in a starting position on the ground.

CD have him on par with Rowell and only Neale ahead of both of them as far as midfielders go this year.

He's pretty much top 6 or 7 in every major statistic - Disposals, Clearances, Score Involvements, effective disposals etc.

Port are only averaging 36.5 points against and none of our defenders are getting any love. Tommy Jonas should be captain of that side and how DBJ isn't getting a run is blasphemous.

In my post about 3 or 4 up the Port defenders were the others I was wondering about. But I havent really watched Port much this year to be clear on who has played well. Which is basically the problem. They are so unknown and under-rated

My early smokey from Port would be Justin Westhoff for a tall forward and 2nd ruck spot. I’d have him ahead of Casboult at this stage.

You know it's a crazy year when we are debating Westhoff ahead of Casboult for an AA spot, no disrespect to either player.
Both very valid choices as well.

the amount of teams in here that have ****ing Carlton or some other middle of the road Victorian team with more aa players than the unbeaten team with record percentage is laughable.

any other year we get told nah, no room for boak cause x team has won more games or some other bullshit.
