OMG any team without xxx is a joke.

Give it two more rounds. You'll have the rolling AA side. And then you'll have the second 22 for guys who deserve a mention because they had a good game the previous weekend.

North Melbourne or Carlton or Essendon or whoever will win a game and suddenly they'll have three players who "deserve a mention" despite being feckless muppets for the previous month.

The burst sewage pipe of "deserves a mention" is the best part of this thread every year. Trust me. Give it two weeks.

It's not like it's a gun midfielder who goes forward and kicks goals or anything obvious like that.

Are you sure Martin can play as a striker?

Personally, I think it's too early to judge, given this is a new position that's revolutionised the game.

Was very good in both games and his goal in the 3rd quarter yesterday was sublime
 
I'd reckon Clayton Oliver has 5 or 6 brownlow votes from the first 2 rounds.

Bailey Williams and Jayden Short were both not far off AA selection last year, and have both had very solid starts to this season. Can definitely see one of them making the side this year based on the improvements we've been seeing from both.

As for Dogs inclusions, Macrae is easily in the AA side so far. Bailey Smith (wing) and Bont have each had a BOG performance along with another very good game each and would be in contention so far.
