B: Ridley Moore Lever
HB: Salem May Rich
C: Langdon Bont Walsh
HF: Pickett Walker Petracca
FF: McKay Naughton Greene
R Gawn Macrae Oliver
I: Steele Mundy Boak Stewart

Err I have 8 demons, 3 Dogs (would be 4 with Dunks).
How does Moore get Full Back when statistically he's been one of the worst key defenders in the comp? He's now been shuffled forward.

Naughton at FF? He's equal 11th in the Coleman. Give me a spell.

$20 that all six members of the AA backline will be guys that take the kick-outs. The new rules are the biggest stat inflator of all time - you'd be nuts not to play on

Roughly 10.5 kicks per game added onto your personal total, more for sh*t teams that concede a lot of goals. Top 20 kicks per game is full of back men.
Have you seen our captains numbers so far this year?

7 goals from turnovers from kick ins last night

Tom Stewart another 27 possessions at 81% yesterday.

Absolute lock in the AA team right now.
When will Sydney acquire another good tall defender and release Rampe like the Cats do with Stewart...

I personally think Alex Keath is a smokey for a KPD. Anchoring the defense conceding the least amount at the moment. He’s been fantastic in every game this year. I only have May as definitely ahead of him at the moment.

Meh

We stopped him and shut him out tonight before he got injured anyway***

*** tbf he is still the number 1 player in the league. But maybe we showed the blue print into stopping him
Hes carrying a foot injury apparantly. The week off might do him good (concussion symptoms aside).

If you've watched him closely he started off the season with a bang but hasn't quite had his same burst power the last few weeks.

Gawn, Lever and Salem are the 3 Demons who definitely should be in.

May probably not, missed a game and wasn't amazing in the others apart from round 1. Pickett I guess maybe based on his hot start but he might be coming back to the pack.

The mids are really hard to rate. Langdon gets in if they want a wingman but I doubt they do. Oliver had a super hot rounds 1, 2, 4. Petracca picked up the slack in between.

Stewart's last 3 rounds have been incredible, so he's definitely pushing in again. Guth the other one, with Duncan really ramping it up the last 2 weeks too. Stewart and Guth the best chances for us right now

He's been fantastic, I'd have him ahead of May. And Bailey Dale around the team too. Bailey Williams too before injury. Bulldogs backline deserves a lot of credit, it's not their midfield dominating games.

Stewart - Andrews - Lever
Ridley - Keath - Rich
Amon - Mundy - Walsh
Greene - Walker - Allan
Pickett - McKay - Reiwoldt
Gawn - Macrae - Petracca

Oliver - Bontempelli - Boak - Steele

The Bulldogs are 1st in the league for clearances, disposals, contested possessions, 3rd for inside 50's. The midfield is dominating and dominant midfields will always make a defenders job easier.

Not just defending the amount of inside 50's they have to but the oppo forwards also have less quality inside 50's. Keath has been good but if i was going to be a key defender in any team i would want it to be in the Dogs team.

I would have Lever ahead of him too purely because I think Keath has only played 1 game against a key forward that's good (eagles) and he was beaten in that match up. But once Keath gets a crack at Tigers, Port and Cats he could certainly change my mind. Having a good year but just wanna see him do it against some of the better players before I have him in there.

Think you are wrong their lol. That's absolutely the main reason they are winning games at the moment. They don't have to defend because they always have the ball. Im not saying the dogs defenders have been bad but their job is so much easier with how much they dominate the possession.
