Brother Lachie played for Geelong VFL side in 2013 GF as a 2nd ruckman/forward.
Dan has silky skills and reads the game amazingly well and has the unique ability of having all the time in the world , which has some questioning his desire .
Has younger form as a tallish 3rd forward , the drafting of Lloyd I think dispels the chance of him joining the Tiggers .
Adelaide , Melbourne / Brisbane might be more likely suitors .

We get 3 rookie selections, and to be honest, I would seriously make love to FJ if we end up with a haul of:

Battersby, Templeton and Wilson.

Would be a ripper rookie draft.

However, I wouldn't mind us looking at Alex Spina, Charlie Cameron, Ben Sokol or Isaiah Miller.

You'd be doing cartwheels if one of those 3 lasted to the 12th pick in the draft let alone get all 3.

He's decent. Good size to him, moves nicely, uses it reasonably. Solid player. Thought he was pretty horrible at Champs. Better player than that but probably cost him.

No idea. Lol. Rookie draft is too hard to know what will happen. A lot of it is not necessarily taking best available but trying to get all 3 guys you want and working out which order to do it.

Doubt Conlon is there even at our 1st pick. The rest I agree with. Josh Miller is another ruckman I like. Any idea how he tested compared to Cameron at Combine?

I hope we get Darcy Hourigan, hes a big unit and and can kick long and after a few years developing in VFL he could become a strong KF for us, im surprised a team needing a Tall Forward didn't pick him up.
He even played in SANFL at 15 years old

Looking at our squad we lack a genuine secondary goal kicker behind Jack up forward..

It's a massive risk but Liam Jurrah would be a perfect addition to our attack. I think the potential reward is worth the risk of a Rookie selection.
