Rory Laird throw boi, can count on one free against for a free per game... kinda like Hinge's one weird horrific disposal per game (to be fair he had two weeks off but it's back today)
Been so good for the club, 2xAA (should have been 3) but looks like time might be up. Part of the reason he went into the midfield was because he got moved out of HB due to form 3 years ago.

Should put him up for trade, might get a decent return on him in this draft
North would be the only club dumb enough. Listening to him talk he would rather rot in the SANFL I reckon. Was dragged out of the midfield kicking and screaming

Has been horrendous all season bar maybe 3 games. How can someone this experienced continue to make such horrendous decisions with ball in hand? The football IQ is non-existent for crying out loud.
None of Laird, Berry, Gollant, Murphy, Jones, McHenry, Smith, Schoenberg, Himmelberg, Burgess or Strachan would ever play another game for the club if I had anything to do with it, and ROB would be reduced to a backup ruck as soon as humanly possible. Why waste any more games on proven failures?
Do everything possible to get all of the above out of the club by the end of 2025 at the latest and we might be on the right path. Persist with any of them, and it’s pissing our chances of becoming relevant again down the drain.
Re Laird, I wonder if North Melbourne would be keen? Oh wait, Clarkson understands what winning is about, carry on.

He was never leaving, giving him 5 years was for stupid thanks
I now have complete disdain for this player and will continue to rant until he is banished to the SANFL and out of the club.
- was shown to be a liability in the midfield, not prepared to run and apply pressure, only wanting to be handed the ball to hack forward
- now moved to HB, the position most clubs use their weapons in the drive forward, Laird still performing the same way
- he costs us games and prevents young players being given a chance
- apart from being selfish, he has now shown he is no leader and not a team mate, siding with Fireman Cornes to sh*t on a team mate.

The interview was bad, his form has been bad, it’s probably best for him to go, but he’s a long term loyal player, one of our best in grim times, and doesn’t deserve this. He’s not a cancer, cmon.

He's an Adelaide born player who would have been paid handsomely over his career, being loyal was never going to be an issue for him.
My least favourite player now, reeks of the AFC entitlement boys club.
Senior player that's never been in the leadership group and is visibly selfish onfield, doesn't Shepard, always calls for the ball to stat pad and get angry at younger players when they don't do what he says.

This thread is way to OTT. He's been very good for a very long time.
That said, I would like to see an attitude change in Laird. At this stage in his career he should be getting around the young kids, picking them up, giving them help and confidence, building the team and creating an environment of inclusion. As an elder statesman he has the gravitas to do that. I hope he does that stuff, cos I don't see anything other than the games.
