Just heard 'returning players' again. No commentary on lucky to be back. No commentary on how they have embarrassed the game. No commentary on they should have been banned for ever......f.... wits.

I remember going over to the first ever Crows vs Hawks game...the very first and we were coming off a premiership. Some times occasion overcomes ability.....but back to the above cheats

Essendon were always going to be massively pumped up for this one, and wanting the win more. Our skills were sloppy, can't believe how many marked were dropped and balls fumbled under no pressure, and missed shots for goal that would be kicked 8/10 times. Mitchell will be huge for us and JOM looked rusty and tentative but we know what he can do. Smith was solid and Langford busted his gut but was let down by kicking again. Thought Stratton was great tonight. No need to panic at this stage folks. Bombers just won their GF and we have plenty to work on.

Very worried about defence and wings

Hartung was pathetic

Back 6 were generally terrible.

Tom, Henderson, Sicily and Isaac can hold heads high

Roughy is a champ

Langford and Duryea ...see ya

JOM was a bit scratchy but saw great signs

How f***en slow were we?

Pre-season form actually meant something.

Yes, results doesn't matter but that means if we win by 1 point or 100, it doesn't matter.

In our losses, we rarely put together a decent passage of play and that form has continued tonight.

Also, this following week is going to be sick full of the druggies win.

Frawley has forgotten how to defend, KB has to play its as simple as that. Our defence is diabolical, pathetic, comedic.. I can't even describe how bad it is to have a bog ordinary forward line put almost 130 on us. Being at the game was painful

Umpiring killed us and kept the game close

I thought despite his stated that vickery was good, just needs a bit more composure
Omaera is a work in progress but he will be brilliant in the future
Essendon were out to prove a point, and it showed in their endeavour

We will be ok. We had a lot of good plays, just couldn't finish
Smile and be positive. Footy is all I've had for a long time, between being sexually abused, bullied, and countless other things.
I'm happy. We've still won three premierships in a row. I still have a job interview on Wednesday. Life is all peaches!

Maybe one for people who were actually at the ground ...

I couldnt hear any booing of the bombers, or more noteably Jobe, nor any banners, syringes, tshirts or whatever. Can understand C7 may have avoided certain section of the crowd, or played with mics for crowd noise, but was anything actually happening at the ground?

Henderson looks to have slotted in ok. Prett pleasing. Good signs from TM, but concerned about his disposal, even when not under pressure. He and JOM and the rest of the mids will click given time.

Pretty dismal effort, no doubt all the more painful because it was against the drug cheats.

Meh. Scum will always be scum. We move on.

Defence looking collectively cooked, and that's with Gibbo, Burgoyne & Hodge yet to retire. Midfield really lacking class.

What I'm most upset about is trading this years 1st round pick.
I said the same thing at the time.. lunacy.. I know Clarko is a genius but that was an off move

For those harping on about Mitchell and Lewis, we were slow tonight, much slower with those 2 in the team. Would of made no difference tonight.
First: would HAVE
Second: wasn't speed that was the problem it was failure to hit targets, which Sammy does far more often than anyone out there did tonight.

Funny, I was thinking of that Crows debut game too this week. Sometimes the occasion skews things in a weird way.
