I wouldnt say they are quick either , again its dangerous reading form from praccy games .
But I didnt see anything from them where I thought wow they have improved a lot .
And they would say the same about us .

Put those guys in our lineup and no doubt we are a far better side .

Its a good test for Mitchs coaching first up.

Feel like were pushing shit up hill waiting for the likes of Lewis, Morrison, Phillips, Maginness, Worpel to come good. They are what they are, late draft picks for a reason.. We just need to get the likes of Jeka, Seamus, Downie, Butler, DGB in as much as possible and feed games into them. They all offer much more upside for the long term. Jeka just passes the eye test over Lewis for mine, even though the output hasn't been there just yet. Howe and Nash play for what they showed at the back end of last year. Hoping we surprise a few this year but at the same time no one needs a top pick more than us. We need to add more elite talent at the pointy end of draft over the next few years.

And WTF do we do with Mcevoy?? sheesh

Play Frosty as a rebounder. DGB and Hartigan to the talls.

Just say ''Listen Frosty, you are quick but we don't want you kicking it. Pretend you're playing touch footy and just get as far as you can without being stopped, then at the last minute, handball it near a brown and gold jumper'.

Howe was overlooked for a 'probables' spot a few times now. Can't really see him making the Round 1 team, unless a bunch more injures jump up from yesterday's game.

i was thinking he's a lock based off training reports but now i reckon Morrison and Phillips are ahead of him

Lewis kicked 8 in our intra
Had 10 shots on goal in the first practice match against Collingwood
Then kicked 2 yesterday against All Australian quality defenders in a game where we'd only kicked 6 until quite late in the piece.

He isn't the messiah, but he's playing round 1. If he plays all 22 games this season he'll kick 30+. We just need to hope for contributions from Breust, Gunston, Kosi and Moore to get these guys gelling together.

I think we would be crazy not to play Ward based on what we all witnesses him do against Richmond.

The main question should he does he play in the guts or on the wing. And if it's the former then who makes space for him.
