TB, Duggan, Gaff, Darling all very poor

Ginbey also a concern, plodder vibes. his TOG is so low and hes one of the fittest in the team?

Allen unsighted too but suspect hes playing injured honestly.

It really is the most Duggan game ive seen. his effort, intensity and 1%'s are fantastic and leads the way in that regard. but lacks the composure and polish he should have with his experience

Yeah some late career Priddis vibes for sure. Whilst Sheezel continues to tear it up for North.

To be fair we don’t know how gaffs kicking is going as he can’t get the ball to stuff it up

Sent from my iPhone using BigFooty.com
He sent an around the bidy in our forward to a port player 5m clear of anyonw. Who then dropped it.
His kicking is shit.
His handballs are shit.
He is shit

I have no idea how this will play out. Preseason form says we will be competitive for a quarter and then steamrolled.

Hopium says Preseason form can be ignored and we will pick up where we left off last year - competitive for 3 quarters and the difference being a run on by the opposition in one quarter.

Some semblance of a playing style, hard at the contest and no injuries will do me fine.

Port by 38.
I think the first quarter prediction ringing true 🤷

-6 inside 50s
-5 clearances
-10 contested posessions
+5 tackles

Not actually that bad there, all things considered.

But 12-2 marks inside 50, 7-1 contested marks, that’s what’s killing us. Just can’t get 15 seconds to ourselves to get players forward and start to lead up at the ball.

Tough quarter. Skill across the board dropped (even further).

A few good bits of play here and there, but just overwhelmed at the contest, unable to stop their transition, missed tackles, poor decision making.

Need to fight it out in the second half. A bit more time on ball for Harley will be good.

I don’t get what the coach is trying to achieve here. We lack pace in key areas because he’s playing players without pace in them.

Then Harley starts well and he takes him off and then inserts him in a different position.

Then plays the second quarter with him outside the middle (most of the time).

I just don’t get the plan? 🤷🏻‍♂️

As of right now, going into round 2 simmo needs to make a statement and drop these senior/premiership players for that shithouse first half. Lazy, soft, poor decision making and execution. No excuses for these senior players

Duggan out for jj
Darling out for maric or Williams
Gaff out for hall

Cole/barass lucky we haven't got anyone to swap with

Thank the heavens we drafted Hewett and he gets over his ferret issues.

Because you don't pick a project player like Ginbey who has no idea about football, at the point end of s draft.

Duggan won't get dropped but I can definitely get behind the other 2.

Duggan isn't getting dropped & I doubt the other two either but Dug is safe as he's captain. It would take 4 or 5 absolute baths for him to lose his spot.

Simpson hasn't drawn a line in the sand for years, he won't do it this year either. What a disgrace this club has become
The only bloke that drew lines in the sand at our club was Mitchell.

Hawks might have lost to Bombers but they look miles ahead of WC in system and structure.

Playing today:

8 x premiership players
2 x all australians yet to play in a flag
3 x young first round draft picks
1 x most exciting young KPF in the league
