Skills not great, but we're the worst team in the comp playing a likely top 4 side at their home ground. I'm hoping we can keep it to within 6 goals. Thought Jamieson looked pretty good. This is one of the flat trackings we're going to cop until Ginbey/Hewett/Long/Reid etc are in their 3rd or 4th years and we'll be an entirely different proposition to play against.

There are just so many nothing senior players running around.
Gaff.
Darling.
Duggan. I've been waiting for his elite disposal since 2015.
Cole.
Witherden.
Petruccelle. Though he did 1 nice thing so he is safe for 5 weeks. And he has speed of course speed speed. Speed is more important than footy ability. But he had a couple of nice moments. Year 7 on the list and he is praised for nice moments.
Petrucelle is contributing and you can't fault Duggan's purpose. Yes, disposal needs to be cleaned up. The others though - agree with you. They're adding nothing.

I think Ginbey is a winger. I noticed him on the wing.

He is quick enough and has endurance to match the wingers.

Him not touching the ball isn't a big liability on the wing

Petch has kicked 2 goals and is playing forward, where the ball has barely been for the 2nd quarter.

Gaff, Darling, Duggan and Cole have been pretty trash.

Not sure why Petch keeps getting lumped in with players actually having a negative impact, when he's made the most of limited chances.
And is alongside Cripps as forwards actually chasing.

Pressing a touch too hard forward and getting annihilated on the rebound.

Some of the seniors have been good but some terrible.

For all his muscle and size Ginbey to me is still seriously lacking in core and leg strength. Also doing nothing to dispel the recruiting nickname 'second to the ball Ginbey'

Williams, Gov, Cripps and Petch imo have been pretty good.

Harley had a good first quarter before copping a heavy tag in the second. Hopefully it's a learning experience for him. Some great touches and has been in the right spot at times too only to be burnt by either poor disposal or team mates making poor decisions.

Also if this is the base level and he only improves from here Jamieson will make a good but not great key defender.

Brockman has way too much poise for this team, stands out like dogs aggots
