We're a horrible side. We have a list of "almosts" as our senior core and not enough talent coming through to be an exciting rebuild. Watch us be between finals and the bottom 4 for the next 2-3 years and then peak with a season that has a breakthrough finals win, but will never get past a preliminary final.

We don't have a team of great ball movers, or a CHF, or a clutch of dangerous small forwards or an almost impregnable defence. We're just average at everything.

Our defensive pressure is just dumb. Everyone gets drawn to the ball carrier so if they get it out, Hawks have one, two, sometimes three players free to link up on the outside. Like moths to a flame.

We are lucky Hawthorn have missed so many shots.

I disagree - bringing in an underdone 29 year old back flanker in Kelly to play him on a wing has transformed our transition defence game in my opinion
