I love how people have forgotten how well Sav has played for us in the past including in a final last year being sensational with his marking. Kid was been very exciting for his age and is just having a bad game. The overreaction is hilarious!

His marking has always been a weakness. He’s taken some good ones last year, but also dropped a hell of a lot that he should have taken. I had hoped that he would have spent all preseason working on it, but it doesn’t look like it. One speccy for every half dozen grassed isn’t what we need.

Selwood looks good - but he always does at the start of the season
Fort breaking even with Jacobs
Still in touch at half time

If Ratugolea isn't going to hold those marks then surely Jenkins or someone else has to be considered

He takes that mark or doesn't just let it through his hands and we could have been looking at a shot on goal, and a chance of being 1 point down at the half

Instead it's a 13 point lead to the Giants

He shouldn’t have been offered another contract. Heard before the game he’s been asked to play a defensive wingman role so there’s the excuse when he doesn’t win any ball or provide anything of use only problem with that excuse is he leaks goals as well.

The issue I have for Sav is that he's a low possession/opportunity forward.
Now that itself isn't an issue but if you are you gotta take every opportunity (like Rohan) but he doesn't, he misses simple set shots and fumbles simple uncontested marks, and because he's low possession he's highly unlikely to get enough chances to make up for those mistakes.

Well judging by our kick-outs, we only use one wing. So we only really need one wingman
