Nah, not with that effort. That was complacency we saw, not desire. Yes, we played a tough hard win against Freo the week before but no excuse.

We can NOT go into a final with Mullin and O Henry.

They are so far off it it's not funny.

Add Knevitt to that pile but he's first out anyway so not worth mentioning.

Mullin on the other hand must have dirty pics of Scott hidden somewhere

Mullin is a classic Scott love child. He's not ready, but he has the potential and is a good athlete. Scott think that by playing him early when he's not yet ready it'll fast track him. Wear the damage caused by early ineptness because it will pay off down the line. He's done this for his entire tenure, with guys like Blicavs, Zuthrie and O'Conner being examples of it working out in the end. It certainly sucks in the early days and seems dubious when there are probably options in the VFL who can perform much better now.

I dare say they did want it, just maybe the Saints wanted it more though

I thought there were some very dodgy call s early in the 1/3 that swung momentum, but our guys just got frazzled too easily and that was game over. No one really stood up and as happens marginal plays go the way of the aggressor and so we saw the result.

This is either the kick in the arse we need or a reality check that we are nowhere near it.

There's been a lot of hype this week about the Cats chances for a flag. I wonder if that has got in a few heads.
