Review Round 10, 2023 vs Narrm

Last night was the first time this season I have shouted at the TV with delight. Usually its just at the umpire in disgust. And then they spoilt it when the siren went showing the tosser dancing around like an idiot show pony.

You can still support the club and say that Hinkley is a joke and should be sacked the 2 aren't mutually exclusive despite what Donuts and his sycophants think.
Of course. And for the record I am not a Hinckley sycophant. I am in the camp of move him on. It is just unfortunate that so called Port supporters cannot wait to derail a thread when we have had a great win. So maybe they should wait until we lose and then go for it.

Not getting into the whole Hinkley thing, I think people can give it a rest after such a powerhouse win. Come from 3 goals down late in third with an undermanned side to win against a top ranked side in the rain with a dominant last quarter.

But you can really see a hard edge to this team since Carr came back. We aren't afraid to defend hard all over the ground and get up into the grille of our opponents.

Apparently there's been a bit of sooking in the media about the work we put into a few Narrm players.

Visually it was like a tight win over Norwood in tough conditions but physically they were more like Glenelg. Taking cheap shots while we physically pounded away at the contest.

A great win and well deserving of our enjoyment.

I think it is pretty obvious. PAFC 66 for a start. Why don’t you read the threads and then you can name them.

PAFC66 suffers from pessimism to the point of mental illness. Still clearly enjoyed the win. Perhaps you have issues with comprehension.

People sometimes say winning will fix everything and it helps but there were times in 20 and 21 when I really didn't like to watch us.

It's how you win it's how you play.

Went in with some challenges.
Went in with a clear plan that wasn't Hinkleyball.
Fought back.

Most I have felt connected and pumped for a long time.

Well done Ports.

IT WAS A GREAT WIN - our best win for many years only the final v Geelong comes close and personnel wise this is probably a better win. I thoroughly enjoyed the game too because it was an excellent standard. The umpiring wasn't terrible but there were some odd things but at least it wasn't the massive differentials that we are used to.

He is just perfect one on one.

Even when it looked like his pace would get exposed he's just smart.

Like an old fashioned Port defender. Not quick but strong, composed and super super smart.

He reminds me of Paul Northeast, just without the kicking action

The umpiring was odd, they seemed to get bursts of frees that swung the momentum of the game, early on and in the third, then other periods of the game we did alright.

Last quarter though was all about us. We willed them out of the game.

You are preaching to the converted. Why else are we participating certainly not to keep on failing when it counts.

I don’t really know.

This Groundhog Day loop is insanity.

Might as well give the forgetful optimist mask a spin.

yeah we were well ahead on the frees at half time but back to even by the end of the 3rd quarter
